You should reupload this with the brightness up more. Its hard to see a lot of the dark parts. Other than that, great video as always!
I believe that the house ever expanding is the child seeing the house as being big and empty after his mother's death, caused by the car accident. The shadow monster represents fear and anger and depression. The father (the neighbor) became extremely overprotective after the death of his wife, and not wanting to lose his son, kept him inside and away from others. This gave him mental issues like social anxiety which caused his fear of supermarkets, schools, and also caused other things like his fear of the dark. The child (you) finally ran away after he felt his house had become a prison, and his demons (shadow monster/depression, etc) haunted him every since. He puts up missing posters because he wants to find his son who ran away. Throughout the game you overcome your fears in the fear minigames (supermarket, school, etc), and because you are no longer held back by fear, you feel like youve superpowers because you are stronger. In the end you finally get over your mother's death, and protect yourself from your own demons (again, the shadow monster/depression/anger etc), and finally free yourself of the monster when you defeat him at the end. The house on the neighbors back and the house in general also represents the mind/conscious/mental stability of the neighbor, ever getting more wild and insane and unstable. In the end, although you defeated your demons, the neighbor is still stuck inside his own head (the house after beating the shadow thing), with his own demons and fears. thats why you can walk through your own exit, because you conquered your fears and sadness, but the exit in the neighbor's house is blocked by the shadow thing. Again, this is my interpretation. If you think its true, give it a bump! Thanks!

SECRETSSSSS
IGP, on the door at the end of the neighbor's chase sequence that ends act 1, there are 3 locks. All 3 lock colored keys are around in the house. I'm wondering if you could get in there by taking all the keys with you down there. Nobody has done this because you only need the red one to get into the basement(and inventory space is valuable blah blah blah). I bet you'd be the first to try on film

The road block signs say "Railroad Klouzed". (At least that is what I can think of.)

Igp, the neighbor on top of the basement spawns in after 10 mins. So in act 1 basement you have a time limit to complete it or he will spawn in.

Igp if you're looking for that you can mess around play Doki Doki literature club. The devs put so many secret, even the game itself can mess with it own files. In the first couple of hours it maybe seems boring, but just wait until it gets to the fun part
There is a secret in the room were you get the dubble jump from that game...if you jump up you can find a videotape where is written something but I don't know what it means because the words are mixed up

lairdoar zoulked = what i can only assume is railroad closed or street closed, but i dont think theres separate models with street closed, so it must be railroad closed, just trying to help you out.
