Heading North from Trona, once over the Slate Range take Nadeau RD North for about 5 miles. The Onyx mine is due West. There is a huge cement pad with an awesome view of the valley.

Have a lookout for Mesas (once giant living tree, cut up by the dark ET forces to hide the truth) while on travel/adventures, they are everywhere in the SW. Safe travels always.

Thanks for providing me a video of my weekend! 😂 We camped night 1 at Minnietta Mine then to Stovepipe, up to Ubehebe, and camped at Homestake (Lost Burro was our back up). We decided not to go to to Badwater due to the time it would take and we would have been shut out at Homestake. We arrived there at 3 pm and we took the last spots. Then a pack of 10 Toyotas showed up and somehow we all worked together to get them in. Probably 10 more rigs showed up after dark and not sure where they found camp. Lost Burro was a good choice on your part. The camping was very limited and the tourists were out in force! Really surprised we didn't see you as we probably crossed paths a couple times based on your video. Did you guys see the Prius headed out to the Racetrack? They might still be there.

I'm wondering where all the kettles end up from Tea Kettle Junction. We hung one there a few years back, and the wooden frame was bursting with kettles at the time. It was almost empty in your video. Hopefully they'll get recycled and not just thrown in a landfill somewhere. Maybe someone should open a Tea Kettle Junction Museum where all the kettles get their final resting place 🙂
My understanding is the rangers encourage people who leave a tea kettle to take one as well. My guess is that is there way to deal with any excessive tea kettles? Thanks for watching

You guys, no satelite tv ;) I go there frequently never an over nighter to Pinnacles. Go up to Father Crowley lookout early am- fighter jets blow thru cyn.
one early morn on 395 I see the RC type plane straddling my lane coming at me. Odd, as it got closer it got a lot bigger, quicker. An F22 blew by me waving his wings hello/good morning to me at about 250' off the deck

Death Valley isn’t the place to go right now. National Park Service is still dealing with flood recovery.
It was pretty well dealt with..But the areas they are focusing most of their attention are indeed on closed roads.
Will say that was a great night shot as you came into Trona!
Tid bit of Trona Trivia. Trona HS is the only HS in the state. Why? Grass won't grow
