Nice looking engine . Must be way older model because of the cast iron carb ? Thanks for showing it .

I think you are correct, it could be older.

I have ( 2 ) of these old Wisconsin engines setting in the barn and was trying to figure out what to do with them. After watching this , I know where one is going. Could you tell me what you used for this build as this would go a long way on the farm out in the ( north forty )when needing instant power during a break down.

This Wisconsin engine doesn't run anything, it's just part of my small engine collection. I found it on Craig's list in bad shape. It had a mouse nest under the shroud and one inch of ice in the oil pan. The spring in the oil pump was broken, I'm glad I checked it out before I started it.

i’m buying parts for an aenld project right now and looking for ideas. i have a parts engine which is complete with the longer output shaft i needed and then i got two matching military maenld both never ran one is mostly complete and the other someone removed the fuel pump and the carb an intake and magneto and it doesn’t turn over because it has a bunch of dirt inside of it but the exhaust and a couple spots on the engine still have the plastic press in inserts from the factory and has never ran. the plan is to find another crankshaft and rebuild both of the aenld engines and keep one mostly original and then make the other one as cool as i can come up with and i’m really looking for ideas. what is that valve setup you have on the spark plug? i’m planning on just using the pull start does that make it easier to start?

Hello, The valve setup is home made. It's a pipe silver soldered to a adapter called "Spark plug non-fouler". I use it as a decompressor to help start the engine easier...It's less complicated and cheaper to start the engine with a pull start. I spent a lot of money on eBay getting all of the electric starting parts to make it crank up easier on 12 volts. These engines vibrate a lot, you my have noticed I have a shovel blocking the engine so that it doesn't move away.

@@JimBobZee thank you. glad i asked, i was thinking in my head about drilling and tapping something for this but the spark plug non fowler is something i should check out.
