We can use plastic or ceramic wrap applied firmly instead of painters tape? Beautiful art. Thank you for sharing. I will definitely try this. We can also make bigger ones with bigger moulds as storage baskets.
This could directly be done over a large plastic water bottle. Wrap the rope and cut your required length. Thst is more durable and even a good with water retention. Easy holing is also an advantage for hanging. As far as wright put some marbles into the vase and it stand erect.
I never thought of decoupaging on the rope---very pretty.

Love the découpage on the rope - suggestion, cut end of rope at angle & glue cut edge towards other rope for a smoother edge
