Hey Bark, Am I right to assume that I can hook up USB out and line out to a smartphone and mirrorless camera, respectively, for an easy two-camera audio setup?
I currently run a small interface to my phone that allows me to monitor myself as well as any audio coming from the phone itself which is crucial when I'm doing stuff like karaoke does this also do that? Because I don't see independent volume or balance controls like my other interface has which is about twice as wide as that one
I’ve got one it keeps working then going off been using it for about 3 months but it’s being strange any tips done my update on IOS and GarageBand but goes off then won’t record anything I’m missing
Are you able to use it without connecting it to phone or computer, like a headphone amp? Just turning it on and listening before connecting to p-hone or external device?
Thank you very much. I bought one because I want to connect my electric guitar to my smartphone. At this moment, I couldn't. Can you suggest me an app for my android smartphone that let me hear my guitar in the smartphone while is connected to the Donner Livejack M? Thank you very much.
@@ObscureMics oh man, it said that's is not available for my android version but for an older than mine. Anyway thank you very much, I will keep checking for another option
Can it be used to record video audio using a phone camera app? Sorts like the roland go mixer? Or is this more like a regular interface to be used with audio recording software?
@@hermespadilla it's 1000000% worth it for that. I use it more than most interfaces u own because of the internal battery that recharges as you use it, and it's plenty powerful with great I/O for such a small device
Thank you for this video. I recently got this donner interface and I’ve noticed some annoying latency when recording electric guitar in GarageBand. I’m using the m1 iPad Pro so it shouldn’t give this latency. Any suggestions on how to correct this? Thank you so much.
Shouldn't even need a powered hub since the device itself has a battery....but I'm not sure sadly. Not an iPhone owner... But looks like I need to buy a cheap one for this reason
In my experience the Roar Booster rendered my mics sounds almost unrecognizable, as if the sounds came through some kind of a pipe, rattling and roaring--it was TERRIBLE! However, it was very quiet. Cloudlifter build quality is WAY better. My favorite is Veeleiz Mica, too (esp for its unobtrusiveness and transparent and natural sound), along with Cloudlifter.
Wow. That live m interface is pretty sweet. Donner continues to impress
Definitely. This is such a good device for having such a small build
That interface is pretty cool. I love a portable device!
It's kinda nuts
Saw this on Amazon and thought for $50 it had to be some sort of scam, but thanks to this video i decided to buy it!
Its still a device I use quite often...just too convenient
@ObscureMics Just arrived today. Pretty awesome. Is there a way to monitor your phone's output and the XLR input at the same time?
@@CarterSH1998 No sadly, i think the direct monitoring/headphone toggle prevents that
@@ObscureMics darn I missed that when looking at the specs. Major flaw for me because I can't hear myself singing on an instrumental.
Preety cool items man. I like that interface a lot. Having 3 donner mics I may need that as it seems to work very well.
#DonnerCountry #LetsRide
I like that little interface
Meeeee too
I see you using the d421 more. Such a great sound!
Sure is. I really love that mic
Wish it could do direct monitoring and playback like the AMS-22
That switch is the only thing I don't love
So this recharges as u use it? Mine seems to go dead after awhile.
If you have it plugged in with the usb cable yes. Of course you could just use the 3.5mm outs and record but not recharge
Recharge until green light comes on , use till u first see red and recharge again. iPhone is supposed to charge it but is not enough for long use.
Nice, both items
Defi itely
Hey Bark,
Am I right to assume that I can hook up USB out and line out to a smartphone and mirrorless camera, respectively, for an easy two-camera audio setup?
Yes yes and heck yes. I just got done using this device..... I keep it in my travel bag... It's a keeper
@@ObscureMics F*ck yeah! Thanks, bro. Pulling the trigger now.
It's adorable 😍
Cutesy wootsy.... And got damn it works well
Can you input on Line in and Mic at the same time ?
Sure can

This has a toggle switch for director monitoring or playback, but not simultaneously
Lollipops with string? That a regional thing (like bagged milk)?
Yes lol

No, that is odd. Has it done that from the beginning or recently?
Are you able to use it without connecting it to phone or computer, like a headphone amp? Just turning it on and listening before connecting to p-hone or external device?
Yep. One of my favorite things about it

The iRig app will do that. But you have direct monitoring on the donner

@@ObscureMics I’m monitoring with GarageBand, and there’s some latency.

I do not but I’ll try to find out
