Great video, I used to drive vintage buses, the AA buses preserved fleet. OKM317, AEC Regent 3 and GSD779, Guy Arab. I just ride vintage motorcycles now, a Yamaha DT3 250 Enduro and a Honda CB360, the 70's part of my fleet.
It was pure luck that I saw this. I was on my way home from a run on my motorbike when I spotted a couple of old trucks going into the lane, so I followed them and waited for them leaving.
Tandem drive makes them heavy and inefficient on fuel, unless your constantly in and out of the woods on timber work, there's no need for it. For purely highway use, a 6x2 is much more efficient.
