There are destroyers and achievers in life I would say I was an achiever “Sean Quinn”legend !
Surely, if he had protection in the regulators office, and this has ended up costing the Irish people millions.... Should there not be prosecutions?
There would not be nearly as many jobs, enterprise and development, today in the Leitrim, Fermanagh, Cavan, Monaghan area and beyond if it werent for the legacy of Quinn.

The people there show amazing loyalty to him.
This is completely true and not in dispute as far as I can see. Unfortunately, he took out loans against those companies to cover the loses incurred by his gamble on Anglo Irish Shares. It is hugely regrettable that as those shares became worthless, Quinn lost control of his assets which secured those loans. It is unfortunate and simple in equal measure. Even more regrettable is that more was not done to dampen down the anger that ultimately lead to Kevin Lunney's brutal assault.
Duh, that makes all of the corruption, skulduggery, theft and violence okay then. Wonder if you or your family were left ruined or beaten half to death by this scumbag would you still feel the same way? Back to bed Bernie. Silly old goat.
Another legacy of Quinn is the insurance levy i pay every year.
I always ask this question about millionaires..How much do you want?..This lad had more than enough to do him for the rest of his life..No sympathy for him whatsoever...Greed was his downfall end of story..
