It suffered a fire and dissipated. After the lot sites distributed into 440 residential beautiful craftsmanship structures. The Luna Park historic district was national recognized a decade ago. Because of the existing structures that are vacant the Mayor & planning department have adopted a budget to demolish these vacant structures. The land bank is not available to purchase these properties. The Luna Park historic district is in disarray. The lack of guidance resources to maintain this historic district is in need. Charleston WV over site. There is no outside government official to ask why is the land bank not available to purchase any of these properties that the city of Charleston has obtained. Investors would like to purchase these properties however the land bank does not allow a conversation to purchase these properties in the Luna Park historic district.
