China has no leverage over the world diplomacy but they got money so they try to influence some in west with Chinese money to speak for China . We all know how China works . They target corrupt leaders in other countries to get benefits or make alliance. The eg are Maldives, some African countries, previous Srilankan govt , Pakistan, Canada and lot others where China is not running the govt yet .
