Theory: After Ultraman and superman's fight at the stadium, superman flees to the arctic, calls Krypto to drag him to his fortress, the robot there see's the wounded superman and puts him in or on something solar related to help him recuperate. However, Lex somehow tracks him, bringing Ultraman as well. While superman is still unconscious, Ultraman destroys everything under Lex's orders including the robot. Superman wakes up, see's everything destroyed, including his robot, rushes to him and holds his hand to his final moments. Lex never left however, as he captures superman somehow and puts him in a glass cage with Metamorpho standing guard. Then Lex orders Ultraman to pose as superman. Hours later, the real superman then somehow convinces Metamorpho to release him, hence the white light or the other superheroes, Guy, Hawkgirl, and Mr. Terrific come and help superman by fighting Metamorpho preventing him from created a kryptonite light or red solar light or by disabling a machine creating one of these 2 things. Plus: That wasn't a reflection as "Stagg Industries" isn't in reverse.
The scene where someone flies past luthercorp whilst lex turns around. Notice he has an earpiece and I think the person flying past is Ultraman and Lex giving him instructions!
I think it’s Superman fleeing aftet the fight with Ultraman & Engineer (from set video) I think Engineer has tagged him with a tracker. Thus they follow him to fortress. I think its Luther talking to Ultraman & Engineer or his staff to ready the plane or helicopter to follow him. I think the new shot of Luther is from the Fortress as he was there when they were filming it.
Am I the only one who noticed the difference in neckline between the first reveal of the suit and the set photos of the suit? It's in the trailer too! Low neck line for the bright suit, high neck collar on the dark damaged suit.
I think Metamorpho is the giant Kaiju creature fighting superman. Compare the image of its skin texture and colour to the shot of Metamorpho in the teaser. Metamorpho COULD be the Superman doppelganger?
I guess it would make sense but Lois is also very calm about the giant drone. Also when the beam is hitting the ground there is nothing happening that is destructive. I think it’s not there to destroy the city but rather repairing it after the destruction caused by the final fight. Im thinking it’s actually Mr Terrific’s drone.

Cavil had a great look but for me Corenswet has the better look for Superman. Sure, Cavil has that perfectly masculine chiseled statue look to him but it's a bit too imposing even when he's smiling. Corenswet has such a warmer look to him, and those cute dimples when he smiles, he looks so innocent and friendly you could never imagine him ever being evil. That's Superman to me.

However, besides Lois, I think Batman would also be able to tell that's not Superman. I know he's not in this movie, but given his detective skills, you know Bruce would be able to put it together. Hell, maybe we'd get some sort of post-credits scene of Bruce already investigating Superman.

I know this comment is gonna make some people not happy but still I'll say it David looked awesome in that trailer but personally no one can top Henry Cavill for me. The man had some charm and charisma ❤ miss you Cavill
Cavil had a great look but for me Corenswet has the better look for Superman. Sure, Cavil has that perfectly masculine chiseled statue look to him but it's a bit too imposing even when he's smiling. Corenswet has such a warmer look to him, and those cute dimples when he smiles, he looks so innocent and friendly you could never imagine him ever being evil. That's Superman to me.

Cavil's acting is extremely wooden in Man of Steel, it's pretty rough. That's probably due to Snyder's direction. When Clark met his real father for the first time, learned about his homeworld and his heritage, the whole scene Cavil's face was just like "😕😐🫤😐🤨"
