Maestro Mischa Dacic performs these Scriabin piano pieces with such passion, zest and fire! These are some of the greatest interpretations I've ever heard since the late great Ruth Laredo. I particularly liked Sonata No. 7, Op. 64; an unusually riveting performance here! Sonata No. 10, Op. 70 was completely realized, in an aesthetic, 'aristocratic' performance, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The choice of Scriabin's repertoire is non-pareil.
this is one accomplished pianist. beautiful touch and control, modern interpretations, not too much rubato, not too bangey. nice choice of repertoire here, too.
The pianist is very accomplished, has a wonderful technique, but I couldn't hear Scriabin in some of the pieces. It lacks the magic, the mistery, some rubato, and deep insight. The piano also has strong bass and poor treble keys, or they didn't put the microphones on the treble region, which sound low and muffled by the bass. The piano also needs more sustain on the long notes and chords. That's not the pianist faults. Well, there are excellent moments, though, but I prefer listening Scriabin with people like Igor Zukhov , Pletnev, Volodos, Horowitz, Sofronitsky, and Scriabin himself. Misha also studied with Kemal Gekic and, because I was Gekic's assistant at that time, with me!

Why would you have ads on this? Ruins the mood.
Perhaps a little bit more thought about the last track, you've cut the music off half way through the piece!!!!!!!!! Why.
