Sungold tomatoes are an F1 hybrid, they don't come back true from seed so your volunteer plants aren't the same as the Sungold you grew from purchased seed😉

I also garden in Houston and I'm not sure how you are growing things from seed in the heat of our summer. It is my experience that when it is too hot outside, a seed will not germinate. It is also my experience that once it gets too hot for tomatoes, they stop producing. Your garden actually looks like you filmed in May, not August.

Hi there! This is filmed in Chicago. My business, Rooted Garden, is based in Houston, but I am currently living in Chicago. You can see our Houston work at Rootedgarden.com. Thanks for being here!
