- Today, we will look for the true original song of the dancing parrots meme. Although many know the song being used is called "Omae Wa Mou," there is a lot more to the story. We also go on a bonus excursion to find the origins of the white anime girl GIF featured in the video of the song.

An update: The "thumbnail" (or is it album art? not sure) of the song (first shown on the bottom left corner of 2:07) is an edit of the character Renge Miyauchi of the anime Non Non Biyori. Thank you RUclips recommendations.

Still salty that this man put 2 minutes of editing into the masterpiece that is tiny little adiantum and it blew up this much without everybody knowing about the original (waiting for this to happen again lol so i can be like guys the original is touhou)
What disgusting is Deadman refered his "remix" as instrumental, despite still has vocal in it. Deadman half-heartedly give Shibayan credit until April 2020, he change the title, adding disgusting word in the description like "Hei, check out Shibayan Records!"
You forgot to mentioned that Lil Boom and him received 5000 dollar from Routenote (or United Master, I forgot), Deadman use this money to buy new laptop, he even offered half of his money to Shibayan but they refused.
You also forgot to mentioned that Tiny Little Adiantum actually got 2 strikes: The first strike found by the fandom on the TLA video uploaded by Marisa Nya, then the second time is the one you mentioned in the video.
I still remember Deadman apologizing in all caps in his community tab, had a Discord channel named Anti Touhou Doujin Circle, he actually crying because his "remix" taken down from Spotify, I still have the copy of his bullshits when I was arguing with him.
Oh yes, Deadman claimed that he actually gave Shibayan credit in 2018, but he deleted the credit and talking bullshit like telling every people that ask the detail about his "remix".
@@HyperVanilo I agree that deadman is in the moral (but technically not legal) wrong. Although I believe the reason why it was titled instrumental was because Lil Boom put additional vocals over it, so deadman's version was considered the instrumental version of that song. And it definitely sucks that Shibayan basically didn't get anything out of this. Though I didn't know it was that bad, I just knew about the initial not crediting and the copystrike.
@@DeltaPie Do you know TheRealSullyG? He recently uploaded Bad Apple Otamatone cover, if you read the description you'll notice Masahiro and ZUN's name, those names wasn't there before, so I called him out on r/touhou and demanding him to give credit to those 2 figures. His excuse really grind my gear, he said that he doesn't feel need to give credits because it's Bad Apple, it's a popular song so eventually people will found out the original composer's name.
@@HyperVanilo Yes, I did notice that there weren't credits, but I do think that's a more dubious case for several reasons.
1) This isn't another deadman situation. Very different context (in terms of songs), and it's the whole "cover" thing indicates that the version is, well, a cover. Plus covers are the only thing Sully does on his channel. So, basically, he's not claiming ownership so not deadman situation.
2) And he does have a point with the audience thing. For example, there are a few versions of Bad Apple (and other songs) in _the Touhou community_ don't credit ZUN. That doesn't mean that they're claiming they made the original.
3) This isn't specific to Bad Apple. He doesn't do the credit thing for the other songs either. But he doesn't claim that his version is the original (which is where deadman went wrong). For example, his Friday Night Funkin' cover released today doesn't credit KawaiSprite. I don't think anybody is under the impression that he invented FNF. The same scenario applies to Bad Apple.
Obviously its good that he added the credits (and I would definitely prefer if he did so for the other songs), but if he left them out I wouldn't judge him the same way I would judge deadman for reasons pointed above. Now I completely understand the sentiment and all, and you're all justified in wanting credits. I guess I'm just more lenient on it.
As for the confusing credits...well, that can, in fact, be solved. I'm currently working on a project that seeks to collect information on different music memes in video form. We'll see if my motivation holds out long enough for that.
@@DeltaPie Yeah but, even though people not trying to claim the song they used/remix/covered, they should've remember that song is other artist's property, give them shout out. Why is it so hard to write the original artist's name in their bloody description? I even compare RichaadEB to Sully G in my post on r/touhou because of this madnesss.
