Given that it is a combination of two cape wearing characters, I feel like a cake would have made sense. But that's on the comic designer, not Mcfarlane, so I didn't dock it for that

I’m a little indecisive if he looked better with or without a cape. Anytime I see a cape-less Batman I immediately think of Batman Beyond.
