I think NF had the better verse but Hops verse hit those dramatic strings harder had more emotion
I liked NFS lyrics more but Hopsins verse I guess was more hype, different but both killed it
I like the fact that NF actually featured his feature. Didn’t try to out-do him. Which he could have.
Debatable, Hopsin is very underrated, I’ve followed him for 10+ years and he can easily hang with the top
I think what he meant was NF could’ve had a longer verse and made it more about him and given Hopsin like half the time. but instead they were pretty equal and flowed well together. I don’t know if NF could lyrically beat hopsin. It Cant really be debated since NF makes different types of raps and doesn’t cuss mostly has you thinking the whole time. So does hopsin but the vibes are different if you compare their albums

Funny thing is NF and Hop made hopsin verse. NF purposefully did that to put the spotlight on Hopsin. If NF could rap like he did in paid my dues,he did it intentionally.
I hate seeing the “Hopsin carried this”… both rappers were absolutely amazing. Great flow, amazing cadence, deep lyrics. Like this song is a banger regardless, no one carried anything. 🤷🏻♀️

Chapter 2, verse 18: "Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by what I do"(manifest). Then 2 :21 mentions Abraham, and 2 :25 mentions Rahab. Later Hop says "add my testament". Add his name to that list?

so many people just hate on NF because they think that's what's cool to do. no validity, that's corny, but it's just as corny to directly hate on someone who doesn't like NF and hate on other peoples success who don't sound like him, and/or wish someone lac of success because their subject matter is "stereotypical". like what you like, all I want is for everyone to form their own opinions and stop hating on people with no real reason. Music us music, if it's good it's good, people need to stop being afraid to accept good music as good. Stop hating even if you don't like it. NF makes good music, pay attention to it, and appreciate what it is. the cinematic build up, the subject matter, the almost cinematic cadence switches. That's what makes NF great. He excels in making music. he's talented. He's not an "L". It sounds ignorant to deny that, but at the same time don't sit here and tell me that Future, Roddy, or people who talk about "sex and money" aren't great artists either, maybe their lyrical content isn't their strong suit to you but the music they make can still be amazing and talk about things that you don't love. It's the same reason why the whole mumble rap vs. "real rap" convo is just as corny and people stopped talking about it as much. You make yourself look foolish for hating on someones success based off their talent because "you can't understand what they say". I'm kinda tired of all the hate on everyone.
