Watching iconic artists plying their craft into their ripe old age is actually quite fascinating. Try watching (and maybe appreciating) from the perspective of a music anthropologist rather than a music critic. Granted this performance won't wind up on anyone's jukebox but there's still a lot of humanity on display. We all get old. People hear this all the time but don't really internalize it.

I guess it’s because he’s an icon of a certain generation, but this is brutal….! When he looks off stage, he kind of reminds me a Joe Biden looking for where to go next, or what to say next… pretty sad…!
