What is the difference between pearlscent colours and tints and if you are on a budget , if we buy a small set , then to buy a sky blue or light colours should I buy tints or pearlscent colours set. Please guide as I am very new to pan Pastels. But I am interested in this medium to learn more.

Hi - This was done on Colourfix paper, however PanPastel works well on many different surfaces, including Pastelmat and Uart etc.

Will pan pastels work well on canvas?

Hi Terri - yes they work on canvas and most artists surfaces - from low tooth (smooth) to high tooth (textured)

are pan pastels dusty or is the texture similar to pastel crayons?

Hi there - they are low dust, as they are more controllable, because they are applied with applicators - Sofft Tools.
