Kevin's idea of Bundt cake is a good one and then lightly dust it with powder sugar for aesthetic appeal. Could also use other canned fruit. Would make for a pleasing summertime dessert. Thanks for sharing.
I would have used the whole can of pineapple too… we have some nut allergies but I think I’d leave the pecans out and use toasted coconut on top of frosting!!! I’d bet a yellow cake would taste great too…

I'm not surprised this was overly sweet and rich; that's what he liked! And I think you guys like really sweet things, but his taste buds were on a whole other level.. He has many famous favorite meals of his that would make your jaw drop with how bizarre and over the top they were.
