this is actually her poppiest song she's ever had😅 someone once took the trouble to divide her albums into genres and came up with over 20 different ones. I think it's its own genre and I think that's so good and I love it and it's always impressive, she doesn't need to show any skin or wear tight clothes and still has such a brilliant charisma.
I love your reactions, I recommend the next videos and songs that you could upload: -"chihiro" -"xanny" -"idontwannabeyouanymore" -"happier than ever" -"bury a friend"
Yes you're so right - she has said that this video is a representation of a lost love that still controls her, pulling her in every direction. But she still loves the person so she isn't angry. Love your Billie reactions, keep em coming!
As crazy as this sounds, Billie actually thought this song was going to be a flop and almost didn't include it on the album! And that fabulous note, Billie learned to comp her own vocals for this album, and she was recording her lines by herself. She said that she was singing that line and got to the second to last note and realized she needed to go higher. That's the highest note she's hit in any of her songs, and she was so proud to show her family after she recorded it. She's so, so humble. I'd love to see your reaction to Bury a Friend (definitely a darker song & tone) and Male Fantasy.
I love that you do research after watching. And yes I agree billlies eyes are striking and she’s VERY beautiful 😅. Can’t wait to hear your opinion on more of her stuff
i just binge watched all of your billie reactions up to this one. i LOVE watching this journey. billie and finneas are once in a lifetime artists. i already suggested this on another video but one of my favorite things they’ve ever done is their cover of the end of the world on BBC radio. and if you want some real, raw insight on their rise to stardom - she has a documentary called the worlds a little blurry. it’s phenomenal.
I love your input on songs bc you really just have a passion for the art. Billie’s other live performances of lamour de ma vie and this song, birds of a feather, are both really good. All from the same session as wildflower, which you’ve already seen
This song is a song worm..it plays in my head all day…when I hear it… but I don’t mind because it’s so great… I hope it gets it deserved song of the year 2024. ….i think she is getting better and better and better…
hey i found your billie reactions today and have been binge wacthing them, and just wanted to say that you're one of the best channels i have found here, you show you actually care, and you just have a great vibe men, keep going please i need more lol
I realise this is repeating an existing comment but I really do want to stress listening to ‘happier than ever’ (and watching its music video). it essentially shook pop culture when it first came out and more importantly was the catalyst for a very significant shift in her sound as well as her vocals
Love your reaction! Id recommend some calm songs like -Halley's Comet -Everybody dies - Male fantasy Also - NDA - lost cause She also did some great covers like - Fever (by Piggy Lee) or - bad (by Michael Jackson) and - end of the world (i forgot the original artist but the cover is on the chanel of the BBC1)
I recently discovered Billie's music myself and have had similar reactions as you. Her artistry and subtleness is very refreshing in the current music space. I particularly love her falsetto and live performances. I'd recommend checking out the following: 1. What was I made for - Live from the Oscars 2024 2. The 30th - Live from Singapore's cloud forest 3. All the good girls go to hell - Live on the Howard Stern show 4. Tiny desk concert - NPR music 5. Chihiro - Official music video 6. Happier than Ever - Official music video
Loved the video! If it’s not already on your list, please react to Everything I Wanted! One of her most beautiful songs, it’s about her relationship with her brother. Her brother has put out some great music too! I’ve had his latest album For Cryin’ Out Loud! on repeat :)
You should definitely watch the "Chihiro" music video, but before that, I would recommend watching spirited away if you haven't already. There are so many references and it would give you a better understanding of the song!
I am going to be a contrarian here, but despite the video, I still think that this is about her ride or die best friend from when they were very little ( Zoe - coincidentally, meaning Life). She accompanied Billie on tour ( documented in The World’s A Little Blurry) . Billie was besieged with injury after injury, was going through “it” with her boyfriend ( YOUR POWER, I DIDNT CHANGE MY NUMBERS, LOST CAUSE, HAPPIER THAN EVER) and was being pushed in front of people who expected her to give them her time ( and she felt that she wasn’t being treated well in the situation.’ Zoe was literally in the wings, under the stage props/ platform, and most importantly she didn’t abandon Billie when most of her other friends did. I think this is saying “ I will love you forever. I will be everything that you were for me unconditional love and support - including calling me out on my “ I suck” bullshit. Like a soulmate of a friend. Zoe is also along on parts of this tour and does BTS stuff for the music videos etc.
Love your reactions man. You should do NDA next. It’s one of the most creative and meaningful songs she has and it’s also an incredible video (of course directed by her)
Highly recommend watching the video on her channel called “Story of my Song” where she and Finneas break down this song. Its awesome. They did a similar video about her song “What Was I Made For” with Vanity Fair last year and that video is also spectacular.
i'd like to see you react to "chihiro" because its production is FIRE! also "everything i wanted" is one of her best lyrics ever, with a great production too. "what was i made for" was a song that her and finneas made for the barbie movie soundtrack and its AMAZINNNNNG, that song won an oscar (her 2nd) at age 22!! you should definitely react and sorry about the long comment.
Maybe down the road but, for now, probably not. It would take me forever to edit since I do research and commenting during the video, it would be a copyright nightmare and time is very limited for me right now.
Great reaction again. I love your approach very much! This video, btw, was not directed by Billie. She hired Aiden Zamiri for this one. If you wanna look into this song a little more, I found this to be very interessting: ruclips.net/video/1bkjEO_Zj2g/видео.html
Love this video, but have to say it's my least fave song in her entire repertoire ... it's the kind of MOR pop I thought she would serve up years ago but never did LOL. Unfortunately, all I hear in the chorus is Wham's Last Christmas and that's prob on me bc I'm *that* old! Thanks for your brilliant reaction... you are so observant with the details and melodies and well, everything. I'll watch anything you do of hers. FWIW, my fave video is probably "Hostage" starring baby Billie. It's a really messed up dark song and her most underrated video, featuring interpretive dance. It will blow your mind. I'm also a big fan of "Xanny" which is the first one she directed. Cheers!
Love this song but don't really care for the video. She didn't direct this one so maybe that's why. The guy that did this one did the remix of "Guess" where guess what? She crashed through a wall.
her eyes are just SO unique. such an iconic "billie eilish" feature 🩵
"i love you" is a great song, and she did it live with finneas. very cool set for it too
this is actually her poppiest song she's ever had😅 someone once took the trouble to divide her albums into genres and came up with over 20 different ones. I think it's its own genre and I think that's so good and I love it and it's always impressive, she doesn't need to show any skin or wear tight clothes and still has such a brilliant charisma.
Ohh I’m gonna look for that, I’d really like to see that.

All on the list. Thanks

Guitar Songs…sad but very personal💙
i am desperate for billie eilish-lovely reaction. her aesthetics was peak then
yesssss
And if you love music like I know you do. Know BILLIE EILISH!!! she and Finneas are genious in the all sense
I love that you do research after watching. And yes I agree billlies eyes are striking and she’s VERY beautiful 😅. Can’t wait to hear your opinion on more of her stuff

Thanks for the binge. End of the World is near the top of the Billie list. I already like that song so that helped it move up.
thank u for ur reaction and honest opinion
Her The End of the world, and Bad covers on “like a version” is amazing
I totally agree with you, she somehow elevates the genre.
Her other music videos from her first album are all incredible 😂 you’ll definitely be blown away
I love your input on songs bc you really just have a passion for the art. Billie’s other live performances of lamour de ma vie and this song, birds of a feather, are both really good. All from the same session as wildflower, which you’ve already seen
She has a sense of humor. ❤
Renaissance Man (I like that moniker) found your reaction for this song. I really enjoyed it and look forward to more from you. Hm. Subscribed. 😉
I subscribed! Because you like her... She's one of my favorite artists in the industry at the moment! Greetings from a lonely person of Lithuania 🇱🇹
I hope you don't stay lonely for too long......unless that's what you like. Then...lonely away.
@@ige-individualgroupeffort-kenl I hope so too... I don't. Then I need some people who make sure am human too.

I have at least 10 more in my list just for starters. Thanks for the comment and the support. It's nice to hear nice things.

You should definitely watch the "Chihiro" music video, but before that, I would recommend watching spirited away if you haven't already. There are so many references and it would give you a better understanding of the song!
I saw Spirited Away many years ago. I remember the gist and liking it.
Please do CHIHIRO 🥺🥺🥺 it's my absolute fav song from her so unique

I watched that video earlier today. Really interesting and cool to watch them interact.
I want a collaboration with Bille and Aroura. It would be absolutely amazing I'm sure.
Damn skippy that that would be a treat and a half.

You would love the video and the song is amaizing, with chances. I wont spoiler
any chance you could react to the whole album hit me hard and soft?
Whole albums probably aren't in the near future. Maybe someday but not now.
React billie eilish i didn't change my number in the live lounge Please
This song is good. This is my most favorite song by Billie.
Supposedly the Birds of a Feather is about her brother. They are so close, and she has always said he is her best friend and will always be.
She didn’t direct this music video
Forgot to mention that in the comments but I did watch the making of.
Love this song but don't really care for the video. She didn't direct this one so maybe that's why. The guy that did this one did the remix of "Guess" where guess what? She crashed through a wall.
