Just ran across your channel. Love it! I'm in Ohio and like old stuff as well. Mostly farm related. Ford tractors, I have a 65 Chevy one ton as a daily driver. Just acquired a1930 Marquette two door. Pretty well original and complete. Ruff looking but just the way we like it.

The 6x6 is nice. What happened to it? Normally WWII 6x6's had dual wheels on the rear axles. Later GMC's had open cabs (no metal roofs) so this one is kinda rare. My late father-in-law was born in Scenic SD.
@@DolloffAntiques Bought a 47 Dodge truck in Webster, SD last Summer. Couldn't relax for a second while looking it over, sitting in the tall grass. I hate snakes. My local salvage yard is crawling with them.

This one came with the duals but someone took them off years ago.. we are planning on getting it running at some point..

I have found a few fossils and lots of petrified wood.. I found an ammonite right in out junkyard..
In all of these "barn find" videos, you are the first to mention rattlesnakes. They have to be plentiful in many junky locations, I would think. YUK!
Yes they are liable to be anywhere out here in the country.. Occasionally in towns as well..

The Badlands in WY are bad there's no green like the Dakota Badlands.
This was last spring.. is summer the grass burns off here as well
