To be fair, I don't think the actual fuel consumption was an issue, provided you use a competent flight planner (i.e. SimBrief, etc.). Rather, it's the shoddy FUEL PRED outputs that can't/couldn't be trusted.
As many have pointed out in the past, you mentioned that the flight dynamics “make the aircraft feel heavy when flying” - it shouldn’t. It’s a FBW aircraft that has a logic created that makes an A330 feel the same to fly, no matter what load you have, and it feels very similar to the A320 series, that’s the entire point of the system. Aerosoft refuses to acknowledge this though... Great review!

Thank you for the review. Very thorough. I was surprised to hear that the A330 is the first aircraft you owned with PbR cockpit textures. You need to get yourself the NgXu and maddogx......both add-one are fantastic and worth the investment. I promise you won’t regret it.
Id guess this is because it is based off the A330 EFB. I have not checked it out though, so I can not tell if it has been optimized for the A320 or just a straight port over from the A330. Nick

So when you were showing the landing gear animation on touchdown, you screen recorded during a flight. Not during an instant replay. I have to say that every airbus for P3D are huge disappointments. Even the FSLabs aint all that. This A330 is just not worth the price tag even if it was a better plane. When they are asked why the animations and instruments don't work in the replay, they give the same old lame excuse "inverse kinetics." They said they tried contacting Lockheed Martin about it and got no response. Is this really true? All the money they pay for a developers license and they can't get a response to a tech question? The problem isn't a P3D issue. The issue is developers trying to get JBSim or some other physics software to interact with P3D because they don't know how to setup flight dynamics in the existing software. The video is a nice review but it would be nice if you put the specs of your rig in the description if you're going to tell us the frame rates you're getting with the add-on. Only makes sense. Right?
Nice review with two big failures, why do you use an extremely outdated version? Last official since end of february ist version 1.008, also the official download version. Why using an incompatible shader tool? With default shaders the textures are as expected and not dark.
As mentioned in the review, version 1.0.0.2 is the latest STABLE version. Version 1.0.0.8 is (at the time of writing) labeled as 'experimental' thus not deemed stable enough to be pushed as a proper update. As for the shaders, Nick (and various members of the team) all tried with and without shaders all to the same effect that the cockpit is dark. Nick then showed this when clipping through the windows in the cockpit to show that outside was indeed bright.
It is planed from Aerosoft to covert all their products to msfs2020 with the crj series being the first December. I believe with the current state oft alsobos sdk it‘ll take some years till all Aerosoft products are available in Msfs2020.

This was mentioned in the review. The trim button you assign to a button for example are very jumpy. Using the scroll wheel is much more precise, but is slow.
I bet that by the time the FSLabs A330 is released in 2045 Aerosoft will still be fixing bugs and the -200 still wouldn't be released.

Very overpriced for level of detail IMO.
The A330 is a little slippery with FBW where it can lag a little when moving the stick too hard so that's at least realistic...great review
why does aerosoft hate wing flex so much?
Somethings off in the cockpit windows, I think its a littile too big like in the a320 professional series.

Please note that wing flex on A320 is limited in real life (unless you fly into a CB).
The wings on this plane are quite stiff indeed. I've flown on A330 less than a month ago, and that wing flex was close enough.

I didnt edit it at all. I use tomatoshade, but no profile was applied to the A330.
