Here’s the thing: I am a gay woman and I love seeing Cate grab Rooney’s breast playfully. However, if a male costar did that he’d be rightfully persecuted. Is it alright because Cate is the same sex? Not an overt violation? I’m surprised Blanchett thought that was okay. Maybe it was worked out between the two of them ahead of time? Didn’t look like it.
