I was so young when I played this back in the day. I remember when Maze said "if it's vengeance you want.." I immediately said "not vengeance but justice" to the tv and my mom heard me and she was impressed and gave me additional allowance lol I will never forget this
Samherman It is more of an action adventure game and not much about role playing. Their aren’t really any consequences for your actions other than your character turning into a demon or angel and the NPC’s reactions to you. It’s still an amazing game either way though!
All I can remember about fable 1 is killing the guy who made the sister blind, and taking down Jack, that and I didn’t kill the sister when it came to that sword being buffed
Deep in the forests of Albion lay the small town of Oakvale, unchanged by time and untouched by the sword. Here lived a boy and his family. A boy dreaming of greatness. Of one day being a Hero. Sometimes he imagined himself as a noble knight... Or a powerful wizard. And other times he dreamt he'd be an evil warrior. But in all his dreams of greatness he could not possibly imagine the power of the destiny that lay before him. "Come on, wake up!"
Evil had come to Oakvale. Bandits weilding torches and steel, slaying and burning all in their path. Blood red flames lit the night as villagers screamed and begged for mercy, and soon their bodies filled the streets. Then the raiders reached the last house, where the boy and his family lived. It was them they had slaughtered so many to find. The father fought to protect his kin, but he was no warrior, and fell mortally wounded. The bandits ripped the house apart but could not find the boy. Through torture and threats his mother and sister remained silent, and their furious attackers took them both. From the nearby woods, the boy watched as all he knew was taken away, his whole life was crushed to ashes. He was Alone.
The Guild was now the boy's life. The memory of the Oakvale flames still scorched his mind, but soon he had no thought other than training , and he became stronger and more agile with every passing year. His days were filled with gruelling exercises. The nightes with study in the library. Finally he was ready to become a Guild Apprentice, just as Maze had foreseen. The real training was about ot begin.
Fable is my favorite videogame saga n.n I first played the 2 and fell in love whit it (my fav game of all times) then I looked forward to the third one (great storie, but I'd wish they had gotten more items in the game like in the two) and then the first one (the anniversary) and omg, really love the franchise, and Jack's voice, I must totally say that's how a vilian must sound and look.
@@waterbender9939 i know that but he had like no health later in the game. Like what? Ive 100% this game and doing it without leveling health or mana bar is difficult as all hell
I've not yet been able to get past twin blades yet, only been playing video games for about a year. Began with Fables 2 and 3 then got an original xbox at Value Village for ten dollars. I like Fables 2 because you can make money in a job other than the quests.

I have to ask, I am replaying this game after so many years now and I seem to recall that you are supposed to be able to replay the cutscene narratives somehow; like, I remember being able to do it over and over if I wanted and I think I did it in the Chamber Of Fate. But now I can't, there is no way to trigger the cutscenes. How do you replay the cutscenes? Do you actually have to finish the game first?
Stick to the original, the ''improved'' graphics and textures actually make the characters look more terrifying and hideous, the environment is better but that's it

You can expand your health and will in the game, plus, you can buy and find potions.
