my thought is that ea's contract for the simpsons ip is running out in 2025, if they signed on for a contract in 05, leading to the 07 game and tapped out after, i imagine disney wants the rights fully, which is also happening with the simpsons lands at universal, which also have similar length contracts

Kind of strange a lot of old mobile games are dying this year, some not as old as others, but a lot of old mobile games made in the last decade are being wiped from existence.

@@Kanesdarkside there are some failed ones that I completely understand why they were axed, like FNAF ar, I personally enjoyed the game when it first came out, but it kind of became shit as the years went on and kind of became a money pit, but tapped out was fairly successful and well liked with a reputable following, though EA chose not to renew the license and axed it instead.
