The fact that Sword Catcher was one of my least favorite reads of the year and Fourth Wing pulled me out of my reading slump and was one of my favorites really shows how subjective reading is and I love that
2024 is the year I start my Robin Hobb journey! Your recommendations really bumped it up to be a priority for me
yay I hope you enjoy!!
Same here! Just finished assassin’s apprentice and loved it
Same for me as well
Yay! I am SO HAPPY for you all. Get ready yall ❤
I read The Smell of Other People's Houses in my early days of booktube in 2018 and have never really heard anyone talk about it. So this is so special.
I'm very impressed... I don't know how people can even read so many books in one year, but you're able to also absorb and remember them in enough detail to do this kind of ranking. Nice job! There are definitely several on this list that I can hardly wait to get to. I've started The Spear that Cuts Through Water based on your reviews this year.
I hope you love it!!!!!
I think I will. I'm not far in, and still trying to get my bearings, but you're right that it's unusually structured and beautifully written - I'm intrigued! 😊@@PeruseProject
Definitely would recommend reading the short stories in order for murderbot series, the characters are quite endearing. I’ve read many of the books on this list based on your recommendations and I can’t thank you enough for introducing me to so many great authors and series!
So impressed that you were able to rank all of these books against each other! Inspired by you I finally started my Robin Hobb journey this year! I recently finished Assassins Apprentice and loved it! Can’t wait to continue on :)
I am 27 and am rereading the Percy Jackson books too, I agree. They hold up 1000%! I catch myself remembering a lot of the lines word for word and I haven’t read them since they came out in 2006 lol
God I love a tier ranking video
Love Love Love watching these videos, so satisfying to watch!! 😍🤩📖📚🤍✨
I've been so looking forward to this! Just finished Ancillary Justice in 2024 and loved it!
Impressive! Thank you for the great recommendations.
Yay! So excited to watch
I just feel like sword catcher isn't getting the love it deserves.
I would highly encourage you to finish the Deadly Education Series! The Golden Enclaves is not perfect (there's one element in particular I didn't love) but the reveals were so good and there were some beautiful character moments
Great Ranking Reagan! All ur books in 2023 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉📖📚📚📖📙📙📖📚📖📙📙📖📚📚📖📖📖📚📚📚📚📚📖📙📙📙
Been waiting for this video
The OC playing in the background is everything😂🥹 live your glow up!
I am on the forth book in my own Percy Jackson reread and I knew the series was incredible, it really held up and reminded me why it was my fav series as a kid!
Keep going with Red Rising! I love it so much!
🎉 nice! I read 92 last year. my goal was 100 but I still consider it a success since I work fulltime, have chronic debilitating migraines and create "stuff" as well, which eats into reading time. This year my goal is page count instead of number of books because although I'll still be reading Horror, Thriller/Mysteries, and some Hist-Fic, Lit-Fic, Non-Fic, Classics, Poetry and Manga, my focus for '24 is Scifi and Fantasy books and series.. and we all know how chonky those books can be 😅. 2023 was a great reading year in terms of quality and 2024 is going to be even better!
92 is so impressive! Great work!
@@samsherwood8332 thank you! 💛
I love the bad tier being 'no' 😂😂😂 wonderful video ❤
I have just finished the fourth 'Thursday Murder Club' book. It does follow the same pattern but the characters that are introduced along the way are interwoven into the plots making them feel like its an extended family. Not always in a good way😂. Its a great, funny and touching series. 😊
I read the first Murderbot book a few years ago and was underwhelmed. I came back to it this year and was, again, underwhelmed with the first book but decided to keep going. Glad I did because every single book after the first one has been amazing.
OBSESSED The last tale of the flower bride and and hope the author writes a sequel I absolutely loved 📙📖📚📚📖📙📖📖📚📖📖📖📚📚📚📚📖📖📙📖📖📚📚📚📚📖📖📖📖📚📚📚📚📚📚📖📖📖📚📖📙📖📚📚📚📙📖📚📚📚📖📖it 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I really enjoyed Malice and Valour but was soo disappointed by Wrath. Read The Smell of Other People’s Houses because of you and loved it.
The amusement park chapter totally stuck with me, too!!!
A couple years ago I reread EVERY Rick Riordan book and got caught up on the ones I hadn’t read yet. It was one of the best reading years of my life. I read them for the first time when I was 11 and I think I was 22 for this marathon RR session. Absolutely incredible time, highly recommend.
I’m curious if you’re planning on reading Prayers for the Crown Shy, the second in the Monk and Robot duology. Personally they felt like part 1 and 2 of the same book, so it’s hard for me to even think of them separately
Oh no! I skipped my turn for the library at mount char on Libby! 20 weeks wait now 😢
If you like historical romance you haver to try Evie Dunmore A League of Extraordinary Woman. Is not my favorite genre but i loved these!
I've read a few and enjoyed!! I want to read more in 2024!
I loved a far wilder magic 🥹
Just wondering if you'll be reading The Gentleman's Gambit by Evie Dunmore? I'm curious on your thoughts on it. Bringing Down the Duke is what kicked off my historical romance love.
I was waiting for House of Sky and Breath and to hear your opinion again 😂. I was gonna guess either end of ‘eh’ or beginning of ‘no’, just because of the ending! LOL
What is that series called behind your right shoulder?? The blue, red, green, and yellow ones; I can’t find out what they are for the life of me lol
I think it's Winter's Promise by Christelle Dabos!
We share some least favorites in common! 😂 I also hated Fourth Wing and The Wishing Game (which I thought also portrayed lots of problematic relationships between adults & children 😬) The Justice of Kings is on my 2024 TBR, and I'm SO excited for the sequel to Emily Wilde coming out this month!
Gothic horror recs?👀
No one shall buy thee’s sunken treasure soul,
although you squint into the phone you bought.
Rapunzel’s psyche turned her hair to gold.
Too much you wonder why your hair is not.
The wealthy think they bought you with their bills.
Perhaps they did. Conformed, you sold yourself.
Your selfies hinting of eclipsed freewill;
thy face a treasure map you shouldn’t sell.
Rapunzel’s greatest comb, a shard of glass,
but are you brave enough to cut your hair?
or take your buried treasure spirit back,
depart, escape, the 9 to 5 career.
In freedom, hair becomes a human brown.
Our broken mirror combs belong to us now...

3rd comment 😅
Congratulations. Your statistics are really good
Red Rising is eh? Really? smh
PJatO is aggresively mediocre.
