🌸 🏫 / 🎓 Su was the only senior in her last year, so the song centered around her. She was also the Class President that year. When this song was performed in later years, the current group of seniors would be featured. This song has the same songwriting team as the Sakura Gakuin song 'Heart no Hoshi'. Probably the best Sakura Gakuin song of all time. Especially the official video with the members dressed as the Rakusa Clan (Forest Girls). It was written by Tommy february6 (Tomoko Kawase) and her husband Shunsaku Okuda. They were also the creative force behind the band The Brilliant Green. 'My Graduation Toss' wasn't pre BABYMETAL. 2012 was the Nendo, or academic year. It ended with this graduation concert on March 31st, 2013. BABYMETAL recorded their first song, 'Doki Doki ☆ Morning' (as a Sakura Gakuin sub-unit) on October 30th, 2010.
They "graduate" from the idol group when they reach the age of 15, when they finish compulsory education in real life. In other words, they follow the same rules as if it were a real school... Although it's not. SG has a "graduation" concert at the end of the "school year", or a farewell concert if you will, to say goodbye to those leaving the group due to age. Depending on when they "transferred" in (auditioned and won a position in the group), their contract with Amuse Talent Agency in SG can be anywhere from 1 to 5 years. Since they are under contract with Amuse, when they "graduate" they move on to other projects and contracts. Some go on to be models, TV actresses, singer/songwriters, other idol groups, and some go on to regular normal lives, ending their contract with Amuse altogether. It's a talent agency so...
As you may know, Sakura Gakuin had a system whereby students automatically left the group when they reached the age of completing their actual compulsory education. After graduation, some of them quit the entertainment industry, some moved to other entertainment agencies, and some are still working as individuals without changing the agency. Graduation is set, the end is set, and the number of times you are on stage is limited. We have all been working hard in Sakura Gakuin activities as well as in actual school and daily life, and the graduation live will be the last stage we will perform on with the current members.
It's the end of a cycle for Su, Moa and Yui, the announced end of BABYMETAL now that Su is leaving SG, the end of what has been part of their short lives. The closing ceremony was emotionally exhausting, and now the girls have to sing, smile and dance. To their credit, they try to hide their sadness and professionally deliver what for them will be the last song of the last show. Fortunately for us, we know that the rest was happy, but at this point the girls don't know what their future holds, the work they've accomplished or the ties that bind them. A big thank you to them for delivering this last show despite their sorrow. The graduation ceremony and Su's speech are also well worth watching.🌸🌸🌸
The "foxhole" is fun. And i love watching these girls grow up. Nene who shouted out her farwell in the song has always been a favorite of mine. She graduated and became a nurse like her mother.
The last moment when Yui finally breaks down always gets me. SG is only for girls through junior high school, so "graduates" head off to high school. They may or may not stay in the entertainment industry as a model, screen/stage/voice actress, dancer, or singer. Most of the girls on that stage continued performing through high school and university, and many (I count 7) are actively working in the industry still.
@theerayundar6204 I was counting only the members on stage at Su's Graduation. You are right, there are more. Hana, Raura, and Mirena are actresses. Ayaka, Airi, Mariri, and Neo are models, Miku and Sana are idols, Hinata and Kokona are voice actors. Actually, I included Yui but shouldn't have. Edit: but I forgot Mariri, so it evened out.
@@williamvesey3679 Sorry, I didn’t know you were only talking about the ones in the video, and I forgot that Sana is in Lit Moon. I didn’t even try to figure out who was modeling, acting or voice acting and I know some had made songs but aren’t right now like Raura and Aiko. I’m glad to see them in anything.
From the graduation speech video, it was clear that they knew Babymetal would continue with Su. I heard, though I can't say if it's true, that it wasn't for sure yet that Moa and Yui would be joining her, which is why Moa was so emotional. You can tell Su was really emotional here too, as she probably hit more "off" notes in this performance than in the rest of her life combined.
Sakura Gakuin is a school that educates its students to become idols and when he graduates from the school he automatically cannot perform again because he was graduated to continue his talent.
The school theme of Sakura Gakuin manifests itself in a few ways. One is that when a member finishes middle school they graduate from the group. At the beginning of the following school year they then welcome new younger members usually anywhere from 5th to 7th grade. But regardless of when they joined, they have to leave the group at the end of 9th grade. The graduation live is part ceremony and part concert. The graduating members receive their diplomas and give their speeches. This performance was the last song from Su's graduation concert, that's why everyone was crying. She never performed as part of Sakura Gakuin again after that. After graduation, they can do anything they want. Most of them stay in show business in some way, maybe they go into acting or modeling or voice acting or they might try for a solo career or even join another idol group. Some decide to focus on their schooling and just go back to being a normal person. One of them recently just graduated college and became a nurse.
Nice reaction. I'm sure you got all the explanations on Patreon, but just in case - SG was set up with a school theme, so when the girls reached the age of 15 they would graduate (ie leave SG to start their career) just as they would graduate from their own real schools. The younger girls would stay on until they were 15. This was Suzuka's very last performance with SG, she was the student council president for the year leading up to this, so she had been the girls' leader and the one they had all looked up to for guidance and advice. She had been with SG (and most of the girls) for 3 years - now she would no longer be there and they were all genuinely sad and upset that she wouldn't be there when they came back for the next school year and they would never get to perform with her again (apart from Yui and Moa would be working with her in BABYMETAL ... but not doing all the things they'd done together in SG, so yes they were genuinely sad too). SG was formed in 2010, it finally disbanded in August 2021. I think it was 36 girls had passed through in those 11 years.
Wow, never thought I'd get to see SG getting reacted on again after they disbanded... Thanks.... Everyone crying is not surprising, but what was surprising was Yui breaking down completely at the end.... Usually she's the more stoic one. 😁😁😁🤘🦊🤘
The part where Nene hugged Su half way through the song was not a planned part of the show and only the other members knew it was going to happen. Su's surprise was genuine as she knew nothing about it and you just before it happened you could see Raura looking over at Nene expectantly.
SG is (or was) a reality show Academy for girls, they actually learned all aspects of being a JP Idol but after all is just a show, you just get to see how the industry could form Idol figures.
I love Sakura Gakuin....so many great songs and huge personalities....Part of the group's mission statement was that they were limited to the growth period....all of the girls were between the ages of 10 and 15, and yes, they did graduate out of the group..Another great idol group that calls itself middle school students forever is Ebichu....Check out the song 'Hot Up' from the reboot concert....by the way, the girl who hugs Su is Nene, who had one of the strongest voices in that class, and went on to become a nurse
In case you are still confused, this is Su's graduation performance for Sakura Gukuin, the very last performance as every graduation ceremony. Su would not appear in the Sakura Gukuin TV episode again nor would she has any filming activities with her Sakura Gukuin members again.
Because BabyMetal is a group of singers and dancers. So when I watched the SG video I didn't quite understand why Su, Moa and Yui needed to learn acting, interview other people, global geography and test their general knowledge...etc. But after watching many BabyMetal videos and performances, I realized that many of the skills they used on the BabyMetal stage were learned in SG. So although SG is not a real school it is more practical than a real school. Fans saw Moa cry on stage several times because of the passion of the fans. So Moa or Yui's tears were truly caused by being moved. Thanks for your great reaction.

There is some misinformation in some of the other comments. SG was an Idol group with a school theme. Amuse created the group for the purpose of developing talent of girls during their growth years, ages 10-15. Although other Idol groups did "graduations" SG was unique is having a hard and specific age limit. In keeping with the school theme, the Lead member was referred to as the "President of the Student Council." It was not an elected position. The graduation took place 2½ years after Babymetal was formed. The girls knew that Babymetal was continuing as an independent act. This was confirmed by Su- during her interview with Tower Records about 10 days before the graduation ceremony. Nevertheless, emotional for the girls because Su- was leaving SG and for Yui and Moa their time working together would be much reduced. Su- had also worked really hard to be a dependable senpai and a good leader for SG.
We get a sadistic pleasure watching all the girls cry, esp. Moa. Su had made a promise not to cry on stage and she never does. They basically get "fired" from SG at age 15.

I remember someone saying that Yui and Moa didnt know yet that Babymetal was going to continue so they were really sad cause they thought they were parting ways.
Because Su graduated from the original school, he also graduated from Sakura Gakuin, because the active period of Sakura Gakuin members is based on the original school. that's if I'm not mistaken
"Graduation" is a euphemism that is comparable to retiring or being fired. For instance, there is an extremely well known, and very large group (AKB48), whose graduation ceremonies take place in stadiums. At 3 years in, girls in AKB48 are told "This isn't a forever job. Do you have a backup plan?" Girls in AKB48 stay anywhere from 3 to 10 years before "graduating." The most famous girls in AKB48 are known as the "kami 7." The kami 7 had extremely elaborate graduation ceremonies. Look up the 5 minute version of "AKB48 kami 7 graduation" and see.
You must realize that most of them were performing together for two years and became friends, especially Moa, Yui and Su. So with her "graduation" they knew they will lose Su, as she quit the group. At this time i guess it wasn't clear that Babymetal would continue so imagine how Moa felt losing Su not knowing if they would ever perform together again. Hope that makes the tears understandable. Greets from Germany and keep it going...
You want some "other" SG content? Here is a skit, released as a DVD extra in the RA version of their 2010 graduation CD, of which there are three versions. SA version, KU version, and RA version, each with their own DVD extra. It's a cute skit. Although some of the translation was lost (it was translated by non Japanese fans), the gist of the skit is still there. It also sets the precedent for future CD/DVD releases in the future as far as content is concerned. ruclips.net/video/NXvnd7W-w08/видео.htmlsi=fplb_9qqqVYygec6
Te recomiendo divine atack en vivo,es una canción donde se puede apreciar el potencial de Su,siempre recomiendan gimme chocolate pero hay otras canciones también.
First off. It IS a real school, but it's not a school that counts towards their compulsory education they need to graduate from highschool. In America they're called Performing Arts schools. They learn singing, dancing, musical instruments etc. But they're definitely schools.
So it isn't a school like what you're thinking of as a school. They aren't learning math, English/Japanese, History, or all that. It IS a school in the sense that it's training these girls how become Jpop idols or have a career in the entertainment industry. So they DO graduate and eventually leave the school. The school is held together/funded by Amuse as far as I understand, so after Su graduates, she becomes part of Amuse's team. Su was also the class president that year and was much loved by the girls. So they were all sad because she was leaving. The part that I find funny is that Moa and Yui were crying when they really didn't have much of a reason to cry since by that point Babymetal was already a thing and gaining in popularity already so they would STILL be seeing each other very often anyhow.
@@MarcelHeldt1983 At the time of Su's graduation (March 31st, 2013), they already knew that BABYMETAL would continue, but Moa was still sad that Su was leaving Sakura Gakuin. They recorded 'Megitsune' two days later, and had the 4 concert DEATH MATCH tour and a METROCK appearance coming up in May.
I think Yui and Moa cared more about Sakura Gakuin than Babymetal, they cry as if they were losing a family member. Two years later they said that Babymetal was a way to advertise Sakura Gakuin in the world, to bring in new fans from abroad, and it seems that they succeeded very well!
And an information might be necessary. Moa and Yui cry because they expect not to see Su again. The were already onvited to their last Babymetal Concert. The saw zhe rules and for them the rules werr Set in stone. Tjis was not tje case for Koba . He was working on a propoasal for Amuse. Amuse was ready to finance Babymetal, but a Babymetal without Mia and Yui. , they still had two Years of school in front of them. So they wanted to put Su together with two older girls and start working. But Koba dared to see the girls not as numbers, but as human beings. And he had other plans. In his opinion Su had to learn to be a leader of a real Band. She had to learn the Work for a Team from another perspective. As a staff member. She should carry loudspeakers.she should learn what it felt like not to be the Prima donna of the Band but what it felt like to be an annonymous grunt in the Band. How important each member of the staff is so that the Star might sing a few lines. She should realize that the Star is only a tiny wheel in a band. Her first steps would be easy for him to organize she would finish school and would start to work for a Band. But with time it was more and more difficult for him to fake her references and explain to them what she should learn and why. And when they know what they are working with changes ectremly how they behave around her. She might be a future employer. But at that stagebthis Was only a Vision of a future. First he would have to teach Amuse to jump across their own Shadow.. But exactly this is Su shevknows that she is just a wheelnin a complex machinery and that she depends on the talent of people around her. She simply knows it. But she also learned that trust flows in two directions. Her stuff knows that she knows a thing or two. Thid is no dumm idol but she has learned her steps. Therevis a reason why the Kami Band West was overwhelmed ty the Staff of Babymetal.
Poor lil Yui and Saki❤️❤️❤️ They all looked up to the graduates so much! At this time Moa and Yui thought this was going to be the last time the got to work with Su, or even spend time with her. That’s why Moa is so emotional during her speech, little did they know, BABYMETAL was going to continue and become bigger than ever!
They already knew that BABYMETAL was going to continue. Su mentioned it weeks ago in interviews. The Legend 1999 concert and other activities were already announced. Su recorded Megitsune the day after the Graduation ceremony in the studio..

More Sakura Gakuin plz
First off. It IS a real school, but it's not a school that counts towards their compulsory education they need to graduate from highschool.
In America they're called Performing Arts schools. They learn singing, dancing, musical instruments etc. But they're definitely schools.

ありがとう😭👍🇯🇵
👍Very cool. 🖖❤

Son lágrimas de hombre 😢
React to from dusk till dawn live. It will blow your mind!
It's so weird to see Yui and Moa holding a microphone.
Comments ignored. Bye.
They're losing their hero Su. She has to move on with her own career.
I like how Moa is the saddest of them all probably thinking she's never going to perform with Su ever again. 🤘🦊🤘
@ that’s not what I’ve seen at all, interview please?
@@faberkas477 yea, their speeches makes no sense at all if Moa and Yui knew, they literally saying goodbye to her, lol
