If you try to design this question with 2 to 1 mux then circuit diagram will be complex. It will be almost same as gate level implementation. If you want to design with 2 to1 mux then procedure remains same as shown in video.

But we know that 4 variable function has 3 selector pins therefore to implement that function we need 8x1 mux right?so should i draw the 8x1 mux by using 2x1 mux? Yes you can make 8 to 1 mux using 2 to 1 mux. You will get diagram anywhere on google.outputs of four 2 to 1 mux will be fed to two 2 to 1 mux and again output of those two mux will be fed to one mux.

A+a' =1, 1+Ab' = 1…?

Yes.It is possible but circuit will be too complex. It will be almost similar to gate level implementation therefore 2 to 1 mux is not preferred.
