Dunno about you guys but the most successful and knowledgeable people I know are at least decently fit, and even if they're fat because of genetics or a disease they exercise regularly and are not obese.
I only know about 3 people who are highly successful and still pretty fat but that's because they went through phases where they were under so much pressure most people would have killed themselves a long time ago from the stress alone. . .
Also in case you were wondering why the girl said "ewww" was probably because her friends were nearby and being asked by an obese person would be something they could tease her about later, therefore she probably panicked and said whatever she could to distance (literally and figuratively) from your friend and re-assert her position as being socially superior by doing so.

yeah true but you don't really need to word it, i found that most women can tell easily if you are into them and yet the love it even more if you seem somewhat detached. If she doesn't respond to a flirt immediately, it is best to move away, that way she might get back to you still. These things just work when someone is even just slightly interested in you. The key is to be yourself but not stalk the person in any way.

The most effective way to flirt is to not flirt at all, just talk to a girl / guy as you would with any other person and let them know if you like them. What's the point of all the fake pretending to be something you're not just to impress someone? Kinda counter-productive, that's why so many people end up breaking up.
If a girl will only talk to you because of your "flirting skills", then she's probably a dumbass and you don't need to waste time on her in the first place. I totally agree. I never tried. I always did my thing and didn't hit on girls because when I did it never worked (I don't know if they just thought I was some kind of player or something; which I'm not.) Having friends who are beautiful women who you're not interested in romantically helps too as it shows women you're not just chasing hotties and that you're interested in more than looks. Just be yourself, be nice (but not necessarily in a cloying, "nice guy" way; you can be interesting without being a dick) and enjoy yourself and women will want to come along for the ride. The guys who go around hitting on everything that moves and hoping that one of them will eventually go for it are just telegraphing desperation; and that doesn't work.

I'm not sure if all this is quite true. When I was in my early 20s I smiled at women and made eye contact all the time and they avoided me like the plague.

It's not really just about smiling and eye contact. It's about seeming in control of the situation. It's about presenting a vibe. A vibe that says "If you don't know who I am, you need to," or "I'm the guy people come to when they want to have a better night." though you would do well not to be overly-aggressive. You still want people to comfortable around you.
People want what they can't have or what they think will bring them to a "higher level". Confident people have the ability of seeming like a way to that "higher level" in life so others, wanting to hitch a ride, try to attach to them. It's not really as crude as that analogy but it's kind of like that i think. If you act unavailable/uninterested they may think it is because you are on a different level so they may become curious as to why they aren't up there with you. That's how i think the psychology works anyway. Social creatures always see heirarchy.

It all comes down to confidence. That is it. Looks don't hurt but confidence is key. Once upon a time, I was 6'1" 180lbs of muscle, perfect body, liftted weights regularly. Couldn't pick up a girl to save my life. Then my doc gave me an antidepressant. One week later, I could pull tail at will, the medication made me feel like i was the hottest man that ever lived. Now, I'm older, not so hot body anymore (understatement) , no more medication and but i still got some game left in me, only because i retained some of the confidence. You just have to be playful and just have fun, dont get to worried about whether or not they like you or not. Some girls will like you, some wont, who gives a crap?

This is why many autistic people remain singles. People with PDD-NOS ( Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not Otherwise Specified ) or Asperger are not like classic autistic people who love to be alone. Most young people with some light form of autism like PDD-NOS, have the same feelings and desires as others. Unfortunate because they lack social skills, their chances of finding a girl or boyfriend are much smaller. Many have difficulties at making eye contact and can be very insecure about themselves, they are not masters at flirting. This reduces the chance of getting a boy or girlfriend!
I've seen men displaying social dominance as though they were imitating their successful peers or as if they were coached to do so. I've also seen women over-flirting, using some of the gestures described in this clip. Both scenarios make people appear awkward. It's a turn-off. I'm much more attracted to people when they're comfortable in their own skin, doing what they do best, and knowing themselves. If these flirting techniques don't mesh with your character, I wouldn't utilize them. That's just my unprofessional suggestion.

I have found that you have to be careful who you make eye contact with because the slightest eye contact makes them hurry to your side. It's kind of scary sometimes. One time my sister and I had so many guys coming up to us while we waited for our dates that I had to put my arm around her and act like we were gay or something. I at least done the smiling part right. Usually if I get a girl even remotely interested in me, I'm so happy I smile a lot.
