Quick question; With the new two-channel dye setup, if you want a piece to be dyed the same color all over, do you have to use two pots of dye? Or is there an option to apply one pot to both channels at the same time?
Honestly, I dislike how male dancers were done dirty yet again. I loved the jacket they gave Dancer for the EW job gear, why can't we have more of that, instead o having female characters look absolutely cute and male characters just... like their chestpiece was an after though.
Im going to enjoy this expansion so much. But is it wrong to say i look forward in the future, when we have the FInal 3rd Tier Dye System? Yea i know we should be happy to have a 2nd dye XDD Doesn't hurt to be massively greedy :3
I'm still so mad that dancer gear is split between genders because I vastly prefer the masc gear's pink to purple fade as opposed to the pink to light blue fade the fem gear gets. And the second dye channel doesn't even change it. Dancer is the only one that has this problem on such a large scale (currently, and to the ENTIRE outfit as opposed to "pants vs skirt/shorts"), why can't I have purple :(

Although some armors are not my favorites personally, the weapons all around are great. Even the weaker ones are still high A for me. Even the Sage weapons (and I usually dislike all their weapons) are nice. And Black Mage cat staff is too good. The witch esthetic is complete now that we have a cat familiar.
It should be noted that belts (and zippers) are mostly a Tetsuya Nomura design element! I like to joke that if a character has anime hair and belts and zippers, it’s Nomura design; if the men look like women, have a lot of beads in their hair and wear flowy capes and fancy patterns, it’s from Yoshitaka Amano’s art; and if the characters have a lot of emphasis on the legs (and butt) and have no noses, it’s likely Akihiko Yoshida’s work or trying to mimic it.
they really put as many belts on some designs (astounded by Vipers' number O.o) one might say it's compensation for where the belt gear slot went extinct

For cosplaying Reaper's gloves are really easy you need those claw rings for the fingers though wearing more than 1 is usually not a thing XD I want to like AST but nope generic dungeon gear or looks a bit too much like blm gear. It's not a bathrobe but those had more character to them. Only got good pants and interesting hands I guess.

Agree that some of the 2 dyes were a bit jank, however, this also isnt 100% what it's gonna look like on release! I could tell they were still working on the dyes from this development footage because I was getting some bugs and errors. But I was happy with 95% of the dyes overall though!
So many pieces with undyeable red pieces of cloth... The purple cloth on the BLM coat is undyeable, too. 2 dye channels and they still can't get it right.
