    Excuse me but you're completely wrong about "the body destruction theory" that you have in mind with regard to physical demanding jobs. clerk/office jobs can be more devastating both mentally and physically while construction jobs can be considered a plus factor as a daily exercise. It all boils down to the individual level because everybody is made and wired differently.

      It's good to check different incomes as everyone earns very different money. The average is much higher than what I was earning but at that point I was a new immigrant without any particular skills and experience this os why my salary was very low.

    Current Inflation is being driven up mostly by fuel prices,
    If we switch to Nuclear power and give greater incentives to buy electric cars (including subsidising and prioritising lithium battery production) this problem will subside substantially over time.
    Also, many countries are going for the practical short term measures of taxing fossil fuel company profits to discourage extortionate profiteering…
    Overall though, Society’s rejection of Nuclear power was a massive mistake, and the environment has payed dearly for it as we continue to rely on fossil fuels for our electricity.

      A single person(as in no wife or children) with a gross salary of €32,000 will get an annual AFTER-tax income of €26,992.56, which translates as €2,249.38/month, €519.09/week, or €103.82/day(39 hour week).
      That is now. It will change after the next Irish government budget.
      Also, it does not include things like overtime, public transport annual ticket, etc.

    I think this is an important video, more people should disclose their salaries, even between co-workers it's good to disclose so that everyone can both have an idea of what's to come (especially prospective migrants as it's a focus on this channel) or within the company to unifiedly be able to negotiate something higher

    • @AMEditionYT
      @AMEditionYT  3 года назад +3

      This absolutely makes sense. I know that many people have the wrong idea that people earn millions abroad but I want to be realistic and explain what's actually happening abroad.
      In terms of disclosing salary, some companies ask their employees to sign a salary non-disclosure agreement but I don't really like it as someone else in the same role can be offered a higher salary which is not fair.

      Depends of your expectations for lifestyle …it’s a good “middle class” wage , not poverty not affluent real middle of the road salary

      Depends where you are living and if you are renting or buying a house. Generally a mortgage is cheaper than renting.
      To be honest is could be tight for three people , but if you wife worked also you should have a comfortable base.
