Sorry about the corn. Good to see you got the generator finished up. The strawberry patch has the security fence around it. Your family is so hardworking, I really hope you get to relax during the winter months.

The new generator install looks great. We have had a 7500 watt Generac.backup for 15 years and it has been outstanding and was of great help.during the times it was needed. We bought ours at an estate sell for a great deal.

Your videos are great, it’s so great to get to watch another family farm. So sorry about your corn. We have a Christmas tree farm in Tennessee and I have seen the net tree baler in the corner of the room where you store your potatoes. Do y’all sell Christmas trees too? Thanks for always putting out great videos!

Hi Logan! Have you considered making "High Moisture" Corn out of it? (HMC)
You would harvest it with your combine, or pick it as ear corn with the cobs, then run it through a cracker or hammer mill, add innoculent to it, then bag it in a large silage bag type bag and let it ferment. It's great cattle feed! Ask Penn State about it, your cooperative extension service or look online for more info. Typically the corn starts out as 25% to 35% moisture for making HMC.

I was wondering the same. We have a small silo for our high moisture corn and also.have a.small bunker. Many of us dairy farmers use it for feed.

@@beckyumphrey2626 I see they have a silo too, but I don't know the condition of it, or how much corn they actually have to put in it. I hope they read your comment! Thanks for commenting! Do you mind if I ask you how many head you are milking? Thank you and Happy New Year!

That’s too bad about the corn ,,we paid 12 dollars a fifty ever since august for the deer feed and deer hunters or deer don’t care what the moisture is ,,,I wish you could have got it out while season was still open.
