1:00 The white big leaves cultivars under a tree always make a fantastic impression.
So beautiful, yES it is truly amazing!!! Love the White Star best as well! You just inspired me to grow them… had no idea they were so easy. 🧡❤️💜💙💚
Thank you so much for inspiring! I’ve got a corner garden bed that would be perfect for caladiums!
Morning N.C. I've been growing these for years and as you probably knew you can overwinter them in the house similar to dahlias. I love the white caladiums. Thanks for today vid.
This is my first time growing caladiums and I love them, certainly will plant again next year 💕💕💕 btw the whites are my favorites 💕💕💕
beautiful!!! what do you put in the soil before you plant them?
I agree. Planting the white variety really will brighten that entire area. I planted some in an area I thought was shady enough, but turned out to be quite a bit sunnier than I realized (someone in my family trimmed the one too many branches from the surrounding trees 🙄!) They still grew and I actually had 2 plants flower but mine do get a bit sunburned looking leaves and are nowhere near as large as yours have grown. Ordered mine from Longfield Gardens but can't seem to find the variety name- green & pink/red.
We need to normalize using the PW green and red caladiums as Christmas plants. Unlike Poinsettias, Caladiums are perfectly happy living as house plants all throughout the holiday season. I've killed literally over 50 poinsettias. Impossible for me to keep alive. haha. Caladiums are much less picky.
