watching this having just bought it a couple of nights ago and just happened to come across this. i completely agree with the nose comment. i have to loosen it so its more comfortable with the nose, which then lets a little bit of light in. working fine for me overall though as a side sleeper.

I saw your review. My mask arrived about an hour ago. I remembered what you said about the smell so I did not wait. I took it out of the package and I've been sniffing it for 5 minutes. Can't smell a thing.
This video is my exact thoughts on the mask, another thing I don’t like about it was how vague they were on how to wash the mask. I can also swear I have seen an identical mask on Amazon just more of a blue color.
Bright side: don't need to wash something if you're not wearing it 😉 And about the identical masks, I noticed that too! I'm guessing it's something you can buy a base for and just put your own brand name on it, maybe?
Have you heard or tried reviewing the Mavogel Cotton Sleep Eye Mask, the Handmade Cotton Sleep Mask by Freshme, or the ALASKA BEAR Natural Silk Sleep mask? They seem promising but wanted your take on it.
The Mavogel one looks interesting and I’ll probably get it. The Freshme, I can’t see how it wouldn’t let in light! Maybe if you have a little button nose it might work but I can already tell it wouldn’t work for me. @@AlwaysTiredish I second the Mavogel and Freshme or similar style (Sleepmaster, bamboo infinity)! I never realised how hard it is to find a mask suitable for side sleepers and your videos so far have literally guided me from just diving straight in on the ones I was going to XD my biggest concern with a lot of them is that they'll be too chunky on the side of my head. I do like my ears being covered though
@@AlwaysTiredish Okay so update. I purchased the Infinity sleep mask, took about 2 weeks to get here, and it's literally the best thing ever. It wraps around your whole head but is so thin it doesn't dig into your head when laying on side; It's really soft so despite not having eye cups, there's no pressure on your eyes; and it blacks out really well. Highly recommend!
Yeah, the tempurpedic is still the best combo of light blocking and comfort that I've found so far. You read my mind and I'll be doing a mask showdown video at some point. I've also got a non-mask, light blocking idea I've been kicking around that I'm hoping to put out in the next few weeks-ish.
I’ve found this mask to be the most comfortable and best at blocking light of several I’ve owned.

100% black out for me literally no light gets in from top or bottom must depends on your face I love this mask

yeah I was able to get it 100% too. Bottom part of mask had light leaking so I just tightened it

New generation version of these have none of the listed problems. Solid purchase

Ok. I just put it on. It's broad daylight with my curtains open. I stared directly into the window. Total darkness. So far so good.
