When I'm SAD i listen to these men,i DO CRY BUT it fills my SOUL. Mind you i discovered it by chance on my CHURCH blog and i listen to it OVER AND OVER. Praise GOD FOR HE HAS BLESSED THEM WITH ANGELIC VOICES. What more can i say I'm heartbroken
To me, this is the most wonderful version of this hymn. It's not just Kennamer's amazing bass, but it is also the great balance of all the voices (it is not simply a showpiece of a great deep voice).
Guys you made my day, that bass,it doesn't matter how old a song is it's word's and the voices YOU brothers are the best rendition i just love it,LOVE IT. Keep on keeping on to use your singing talent to minister in SONG. ✌
IT doesn't matter whether it's BEEN 7years AGO,The MAIN THING IS THE MESSAGE. GOD BLESS YOU'S. PRAISE THE LORD FOR HE IS OUR CAPTAIN AND OUR BEGINNING AND THE END 👌
@@bottomfeeder73 First of all, those "guys" are extremely impressive basses and you have noreason to deny that. Paul is actually a baritone, who has perfectly mastered the art of chest-fry mix which is why he can sing like that, which I respect, but he's not a true bass, although he's very good
@@NathanJ-E I support this gentleman right here, P.D.K is a low baritone, the special thing about him is his technique and control over his voice, not exactly having an abnormally deep speaking voice. He managed to make chest-fry notes sound just as powerful as a deep bass' chest notes, that's what makes him a great bass singer. In the other hand, out of Geoff, Avi and Tim Foust, Avi (in my opinion) is the one with a warmer bass voice and the best not just bass singer but singer in all areas. I'm admire them all, they're all amazing, we're comparing legends.
I think it's P.D.K's unique chest fry mix that sounds better than a lot of basses in chest which makes him one of the greatest basses that have ever lived, I think out of Geoff, Tim, Avi, Geoff takes the cake as a bass singer, his low notes are so powerful and warm and his chest G#1 and G1 sound incredible compared to Avi and Tim.
Some of the notable low notes by Paul David Kennamer (Valor's bass singer) in this song: Strong B1 at 1:53 Great E2s and B1s from 1:35 to 2:20 The famous E1 from the end of 1:59 to 2:00 One of his lowest notes ever: a solid B0 at 1:29 (audible against the other singers' harmonies)
@@bottomfeeder73It might be my crappy speakers but it kinda sounds like he comes up to E1 from B0. Sweet mother of mercy, comes _up_ to E1. I can hit G#1 first thing in the morning. A major third below that? Mind blown.
Olha, eu também tenho os dois álbuns lançados pelo grupo, mas selecionei as músicas que considero mais interessantes para postar, para evitar problemas de direitos autorais e não reduzir a possível venda de CDs. Faça seu próprio julgamento...

@@N9TheNoob there's a table in my house which if you hit the right way, it sounds an E1, around 33 cents flat

I like this group and the bass singer is good
BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL SONG PRAISE GOD FOR THE OLD SHIP OF ZION PRAISE GOD FOR THE CAPTAIN
Hallelujah! Amen!
WOW, i like the tenor
Paul is one of the greatest basses that’s ever lived, and might even rival people like Tim Foust, Avi Kaplan, and Geoff Castelucci. Change my mind.
Really? Don't even include those guys.Try JD Sumner, George Younce and Tim Reily. Real basses. Like David.

Some great bass going on!! Hi John!
1:58 Baixo poderosíssimo!
Some of the notable low notes by Paul David Kennamer (Valor's bass singer) in this song:

+Noah Klan you're wrong about 1:29. That is another E1.
Noah Klan I prefer jd sumners e1 and b1 but I think Paul has some awesome low notes too
Fry
I believe the last one is also an E1 if I’m not mistaken :)
@@bottomfeeder73It might be my crappy speakers but it kinda sounds like he comes up to E1 from B0.

2025, what happened to this group? Can't believe this is a recording from 2000s
The first ship had 153, other 2 had to many to count. The waters are raging ❤
Not sure how people can say that Paul isn't a bass. By that logic, literally nobody is.
He isn’t naturally, he uses chest fry mix on lows
Its 2024 am from Zambia and am standing with King Jesus the captain
The guy on the right must have a great head voice (lol he's got a big forehead)
Ethan Hayden savage
Haha 😂
Dead😂
Dont worry bro about him, It can come back to anyone:)
WOW What a bass!!!!
David is a legend, the subharmonic is epic, i sing bass but before him its like am doing soprano
David is a legend! His low notes aren't subharmonics though, they're actually really balanced chest fry.
1:34
Lower and cleaner than Tim foust
It's not a competition.
Fala meu velho, me diz uma coisa, tenho dois álbuns do Valor Music aqui, tu acha que da algum galho se eu postá-los aqui no RUclips?! Abraço

wow
Tenor is real high
Is that megamind?
Pheminon WHO WOULD THINK OF OF THAT, that’s really smart

2025❤
Paul sounds best around E2, I think. He loses twang if he goes much lower, and his twang is so nnnnnnnice. It tickles!
Mi dispiace davvero, ma il finale cantato da Kayamar è più emozionante.
still a classic rendition---- haven't heard anything quite convincing to replicate kenamer--- storms is fine but no volume
