Even after more than 3 years, still the best ASMR video on YT.
The one thing I've picked up from watching videos on Japan is the way individuals dedicate themselves to their professions, Barber88 is a perfect example of this, completely dedicated to his craft, he takes his time to ensure a perfect experience that the customer leaves satisfied and enjoys their visit. The other thing is his sense of style, a great character!

I never thought I would be watching haircut videos, specially watching them from start to finish nonstop. They are really enjoyable.
I'm 4 minutes into the video and he is already my favourite barber on RUclips.
A funky little barber shop (in the best possible way) and character of a barber. It was definitely hypnotic to watch (again in the best possible way.) I never get that relaxed with my own hair getting cut.
I just love how He speaks japanese fluently and the barber is doing a great job!
theres just something so satisfying about how the barber moves like a dancer, ans even his head weaves back and forth like someone playing the Violin. true artist and master of his art.

Man what a barber, constantly asks questions, has suggestions and seems to honestly listen.
The hair cut was great, , the massage, ear cleaning....even the banter between client and barber surprisingly was phenomenal and really added to the video. But the shampoo... asmr gold. This channel is really beyond almost everything else in quality sound, and also in experiences with new styles and barbers. We dont get a lot from Japan for barbering videos, but as always the pride and skill is unique and unsurpassed. Thank you for showing us this; please give my compliments to the barber for the haircut, shave and level of care I wont ever get in New England at any barber.
What a shame we don't have this, or the Italian, Turkish, Indian, Pakistani, and Irish styles of barbering available in the United States. Pride in a profession and one on one care from a professional to a client. Jealous!

He seems so personable and nice. Not to mention great at his work. Most barbers I go to (in the US) seem very disinterested. I finally found one I like and she's as attentive as this guy. Barber shops are just such ASMR heaven.

My great grandfather was a barber from about 1900 until his death in 1916. I’ve spent time researching the barber profession in the early 20 century. Cool video....thanks for uploading it
my great grand father was a fisherman in Newfoundland. he never settled in the Americas. he always came back to Portugal and that's where I am from. His brother moved tho the Orange County when he was 16 to work in the citrus plantations. he was already a citrus expert since he was Algarvian (the best citrus region in the world still is the Algarve). He came back home already in his late 70s and didn't speak Portuguese anymore. a touch-and-go story...

He was born in 1888 but was a barber from about 1900 until 1916. Many kids did attend school for many years back in those days. They learned a trade and went to work
