I Build Giant RC Semi Truck Model Just for Fun With Foam Board (1/4.5 Scale)

- I have this idea for a long time, about making a big DIY RC Semi Truck Trailer, but only now I got a chance to make it happen. I also a bit burn out of making RC model planes, so I refresh it with making other than flying model. I actually already have 2 ongoing flying projects that haven't reached their final destination yet. Lots of test flight, failed here and there but thankfully the RUclips Silver Button arrived this month, thank you guys for all your support.
The truck is from 80s TV series : BJ and The Bear. I never forget how the opening music sounded like. I remember my mom gave me that diecast model truck for my birthday present, when I was still a little kid.
I use very simple material, simple constructions too, ignoring how the proper truck constructions should be (lol). I just want the end result, so I can't drive it around, not too much on the detailed mechanism of the model. I hope this video can entertain you, as I didn't make the build plans for it

I was lucky enough to sit in the real BJ McCay truck in Tampa, Florida back in 1980.

I got an autographed picture of Greg Evigan. He was a celebrity guest at the World of Wheels in Denver CO back in the early 80's. Love that show.

Hah hah! How cool is this? The BJ McKay logo didn't ring a bell until you put the driver and the chimp inside! I used to watch that show back in the 1980's! Really nice job of replicating that cabover KW with fairly simple materials. Nice work Julius!😄👍👍
I posted work in progress photos many times on my Facebook, but almost all of them called it Optimus Prime, my conclusion was not many know BJ and The Bear, but I was wrong here. Thanks btw

As a kid, that was one show I did watch, I also watched " Moven On" , They used a Kenworth W900 A model conventional.
Add a blue colored line as your foot brake known as the " service air line" , " red line known as emergency air line " & a green one known as " electrical cord ". Awesome build... Love it....

P.S. One of the scenes on the TV show relied on BJ's truck only having one axle driven. He dropped off a trailer with a bomb inside in the middle of nowhere and got temporarily stuck, spinning the drive wheels, almost getting blown up. Until then I just assumed that all of the rear wheels were driven. 💙 T.E.N.
