She should have won with James Hinchcliffe, but they paired Laurie Hernandez with Val; it was a cakewalk for she and Val. James was the better dancer in that season, but you have to go with the fan vote.

They didn't bring in a new female pro. Peta Murgatroyd returned from hiatus. They may call Sharna back next season. It is fairly obvious there has been some "retooling" of the show. The ballroom has been updated, two new male pros, the judges are being a bit tougher and so on. Changes happen, that's life.

Here’s the thing, I don’t think they were fired. I think they were told not to come back for the season just a little too late (literally right before the show). They used to do this to the pros in the past as well. People didn’t know when or if they would be coming back until days before the season or even a day before the GMA reveals. So I’m sure they’ll be back next season. As far as Artem is concerned he may be too mad to return but who knows.

Nooooooooo. I loooooooove Sharna. I was watching for Sharna. I mean l judged everyone week by week and dance by dance and didn’t always love her choreographies as much as some others but she was always imaginative and just amazing and she will be very very very missed 😢😢😢
I do think Sharna and Artem were fired because their followings became so large (bigger than some of the "celebs" on the show). Sharna was a judge on the Australian version of DWTS and Artem's following has grown since his relationship with Nikki Bella went public. Its a shame they were fired because the two are so talented, having given amazing performances despite being paired with challenging partners in the past, and both seem like genuinely wonderful people. And I agree with what others have commented- other bigger pros like Val probably weren't let go was because of family/personal ties to other pros (i.e. producers wanted to keep Jenna so Val got to stay too despite his large following).
I think not winning a mirror ball has more to do with the partners that they're paired up with than their own skills. For example, Derek Hough always got good dancers as partners and therefore had a better chance of winning or at least lasting deep into the season than the others. You can't convince me that there isn't favoritism going on when they pair the pros up with partners.
The size of their followers had nothing to do with it. It didn't equal to higher ratings. They don't like Artem or Sharna. That's why they are not there.
How they can still call this show, "Dancing With the Stars" is beyond me. More accurate would be: "Dancing With the Barrel Scrapings." She will do even more exciting things going forward. I loved her on "So You Think You Can Dance."

Sharna was one of the only ones I even remember the name of. She was very unique and very, very talented. Maybe she was sacrificed because Peta came back and they had to trade one out for that. Seems a little unfair, but if they thought whomoever Peta gets paired with was a better fit than Sharna, for that celebrity, that may be why. They should just bring in more celebrities, and leave all the dancers that want to come back, and then the first few weeks vote off 2 each week. I would love that as often I only know 1 or 2 of the celebrities and care about just 1 or none of them. In this way, you can have more celebs from each generation/genre to get more viewers. DWTS is pretty dumb about that. I didn't watch the show 3 or 4 years so far because the celebs that year sucked, so it may as well have been Dancing with the Strangers for me.... phooey on that.
I saw her at the Dancing With The Stars tour and she's amazing! They were crazy to let her go this season, I halfway hope she's back next season. But I also wish her the best in her career where ever that may go.
I miss her already! She was one of the best choreographers on the show! There's only bigger, better things ahead of her and I can't wait to see what she does next!

Nooooooooo. I loooooooove Sharna. I was watching for Sharna. I mean l judged everyone week by week and dance by dance and didn’t always love her choreographies as much as some others but she was always imaginative and just amazing and she will be very very very missed 😢😢😢
I do think Sharna and Artem were fired because their followings became so large (bigger than some of the "celebs" on the show). Sharna was a judge on the Australian version of DWTS and Artem's following has grown since his relationship with Nikki Bella went public. Its a shame they were fired because the two are so talented, having given amazing performances despite being paired with challenging partners in the past, and both seem like genuinely wonderful people. And I agree with what others have commented- other bigger pros like Val probably weren't let go was because of family/personal ties to other pros (i.e. producers wanted to keep Jenna so Val got to stay too despite his large following).
I think not winning a mirror ball has more to do with the partners that they're paired up with than their own skills. For example, Derek Hough always got good dancers as partners and therefore had a better chance of winning or at least lasting deep into the season than the others. You can't convince me that there isn't favoritism going on when they pair the pros up with partners.
The size of their followers had nothing to do with it. It didn't equal to higher ratings. They don't like Artem or Sharna. That's why they are not there.

No idea why they want to keep Jenna. She's not a favorite among the show's fans and never has been whether she's married to Val or not.
She’s handling this interview perfectly. The way she’s wording things is such that it would be easy for her to go back.
How they can still call this show, "Dancing With the Stars" is beyond me. More accurate would be: "Dancing With the Barrel Scrapings."
She will do even more exciting things going forward. I loved her on "So You Think You Can Dance."

I haven't watched this season because they dropped Sharna and Artem. Two of the best dancers, and they aren't on it.

I honestly think that her fame is one of the main reasons she got cut and that they only kept Val because of Jenna.

@@LovedByYou Exactly. Sharna ain't all that famous. That would have had nothing to do with it. The show just didn't want to use her, period. Season 27 had something to do with that.

By the reaction of her fans.....she had thousands of followers! She will be missed!!!! DWTS has been going down hill for several seasons now....I think they have run their course...this just showed how insensitive they are to the dancers and the viewers!!! Sharna was one of the only ones I even remember the name of. She was very unique and very, very talented. Maybe she was sacrificed because Peta came back and they had to trade one out for that. Seems a little unfair, but if they thought whomoever Peta gets paired with was a better fit than Sharna, for that celebrity, that may be why. They should just bring in more celebrities, and leave all the dancers that want to come back, and then the first few weeks vote off 2 each week. I would love that as often I only know 1 or 2 of the celebrities and care about just 1 or none of them. In this way, you can have more celebs from each generation/genre to get more viewers. DWTS is pretty dumb about that. I didn't watch the show 3 or 4 years so far because the celebs that year sucked, so it may as well have been Dancing with the Strangers for me.... phooey on that.
I love Sharna! Miss here this season and hopes she comes back in upcoming seasons!

I saw her at the Dancing With The Stars tour and she's amazing! They were crazy to let her go this season, I halfway hope she's back next season. But I also wish her the best in her career where ever that may go.
