Did we like Aruba?

Day 4 of our Carnival Celebration cruise. Today we visited our first port, Oranjestad, Aruba. We bought a day pass to an all inclusive resort called the Riu Palace. It was absolutely beautiful and everything we could have imagined. A beautiful beach, fantastic food & drinks and a pool right out of a post card. After most of the day spent eating, drinking and relaxing at the resort, we hired a driver to show us the sites of the island. We visited a protected wildlife area called, the Sasarawichi Dunes. We made stops at the California lighthouse, the tallest structure in Aruba, the Casabari Rock formation and Alta Vista Chapel. The Chapel is the oldest on the island and it is where the Catholic religion began on Aruba. We found Aruba to be a fantastic port and would very much like to return soon.

Aruba looks really beautiful and that water is simply amazing. Definitely looked like a happy island!! Going on our list for sure .

I absolutely luved, loved loved the riu.. Aruba is absolutely amazing,, riu guest services was awesome.. food was delicious drinks kept coming allday...just book a trip and let your hair down....you won't regret it

how did you book the day pass? i don't see it as an option on the website - it looks gorgeous! Thanks for the video!

Thank you for subscribing, I went to a website called; Resort for a day and put in the city I was interested in. They in turn listed all the resorts that were available for a day pass. Very easy.
