Welcome to the 31 family! I have a wagos myself 👌🏾 definitely recommended stainless intake pipe with a poddy for maximum doorts, and later down the track when you turbo it, suggest, doing the oil pump, typical RB shit 😂🤙🏾
learn the basics with the factory handbrake before moving to a hydro (unless the stock ebrake doesnt work worth DICK but learning with low power is the proper way as youll be able to actually learn the techniques and see what your doing wrong as you cant just power through and hide mistakes
R31 handbrake mechanisms really aren't up to the task, but functionally there's no real advantage of starting with a hydro vs. cable for skillset. You could argue that having no handbrake will teach you better, but he's used to reasonably powerful cars, and this is just a 30E, so I'd use the hydro as it'll work, and be easier to get alright results straight up.
