learn the basics with the factory handbrake before moving to a hydro (unless the stock ebrake doesnt work worth DICK but learning with low power is the proper way as youll be able to actually learn the techniques and see what your doing wrong as you cant just power through and hide mistakes
R31 handbrake mechanisms really aren't up to the task, but functionally there's no real advantage of starting with a hydro vs. cable for skillset. You could argue that having no handbrake will teach you better, but he's used to reasonably powerful cars, and this is just a 30E, so I'd use the hydro as it'll work, and be easier to get alright results straight up.
Just need to unplug the o2 sensor to get it running better. With the sensor running it will run at the factory setting. It’s not good to run it without it but it’s better then running in the washer bottle.
Get garage 7 rear brake adaptors and run r33 rear brake rotors and calipers with an inline hydro, piss off all that stock 31 caliper crap they seize like crazy Has it got an s13 front end ? I assume it does, run r33 brakes all round
