Our pole guide, which is what I'm assuming you're talking about, is accepted by the referees. The radius of the center is slightly larger than that of a normal cone which is the minimum amount. The outtake basket has a gap inside of it so that it never grasps the pole. We never have more than one point of contact with a junction.
