I can't find an answer to this topic: My client's daughters for other parts of the country occasionally tell her that she has been diagnosed with dementia. My client then asks me if I think that she's "wacko" or has '"lost her marbles". I can only respond with "No, I don't see you as "wacko" or any other insulting term. You wouldn't say that to your own mother when she was around, would you?" (Yes, her mother had dementia) I think that there must be a another way to answer when she flat our asks me, but won't use the word, demenita or Alzheimers. It seems like no videos on Alz. address this topic. Thanks for your ideas! You rock!
Can you do some video's on the types of dementia, and how symptoms may be different - as you mention 'An Alzheimer Person, Frontal temporal Dementia Person, or a Lewy body person' ? Thanks.
