Thank you all for the feedback on this video, it was super fun to make and I'm glad you enjoyed it as well! Just wanted to come on here and mention that someone has claimed the spiral granny square project and is going to finish it for me :) and I will be doing a yarn destash story sale sometime next week so keep an eye out for that!

Whenever I want to do something with a thin yarn, I do linen stitch. It can be knit on much larger needles due to floats/skipped stitches (usually 3-5 sizes larger than recommended). It lays completely flat (no stockinette roll), it works up quickly, and both sides are attractive. And it is a very fun and comfortable stitch to knit, and shows off the qualities of the yarn very well.

I love seeing your reorganizing videos. I recently reorganized all of my yarn and in an attempt to work through a lot of the yarn I've been holding onto I am working up a granny square project. I crocheted one dark blue granny square while watching this video

@@madeinthemoment I think it’d be a cool series, making a bunch of scrap yarn projects with the different textures, sizes, and colors! 🌈

that is also true! that's what Klara suggested too. I might have to keep it and experiment with it. I honestly have no idea how I made pants with yarn that thin lol

haha you and me are complete opposites with granny squares lmao. I start and I can't stop till it's done. I've had to (mostly) put them on hold so I actually do the other stuff I wanna do lol. The spirals are SO cool, wow! I really gotta reorganize my yarn, it's gotten out of control again lmao. So this is definitely a kick in the butt to do that. XD

Where can the super bright pink and orange yarn from 7:15 be bought? I've been trying to search that label and can't find it anywhere, but I'm OBSESSED.

and I totally relate that the yarn is so thin. I can only do it when I crochet, I could never knit that thin it's soooo much work! During that time I totally was on a thin yarn spree haha, I'm not so much anymore!

Idea; combine the two pink yarns so that you could use it in a thicker needle size?!

I know this is an older video but, that bright blue yarn around minute 12 looks like a flat chenille yarn that I have in brown. FYI, don't try that stuff on a flat bed knitting machine. My machines hated it.

I feel like orange is just not a well loved color. I always have to HUNT for a ball of orange when I make rainbow things and just take whatever I can get

would you like to tell us why you don't support we are knitters anymore? I am going into this rabbit hole of animal cruelty free yarns and I'm curious to hear about the background of every yarn/brand. thanks for the nice review loved it :)

    • @cool-on4cc

not long ago we are knitters did a collab with the multi billion dollar brand Zara, Zara has be known to be unsustainable and rip off many knitters and crocheters designs, also uses fast fashion crochet which is highly unethical :(
when they were called out for this they ignored all the comments for two days and only gave attention to the positive ones. they posted an apology a few months back but it's left a scar for a lot of the slow fashion designers that supported them
