love,love ,love the bodhrán drum ..I was an Irish dancer years ago and there was nothing better to dance to dance to than the wonderful bodhrám drum ..along with the fiddle ..

So, did they just randomly meet on the plane? I would love to have overheard their conversation ... "So, what do you do?" "Oh, I play this instrument; you may not have heard of it. It's called a bodhran." .... pregnant pause .... "Uh, yeah, I know what it is ... I play it too!"

Well, there were about 70 or 80 bodhrán players at the Craiceann Bodhrán Festival. Cormac Byrne was a teacher.
