Great reaction. I only recently learned about Ren and have gone down this rabbit hole ever since. I can personally relate to many of his songs, and they deeply touch me. Ren is an incredible and unique artist; he plays multiple instruments, has great vocal ability, and is an excellent storyteller, and quite the philosopher and poet. I recommend you check out some of his other work. The trilogy "The Tale of Jenny/Screech/Violet" is haunting; watch them in the stated order, as this is the flow of the storyline. His song "Money Game" (Part I & II) is another recommendation. If you like his personal reflections, they are threaded through many of his songs; "Insomnia," "Depression," “Diazepam," “Penitence,” “Dear God,” “Heretic,” “Dominos,” his "Freckled Angels" album, just to name a few, all deserve a listen. As a solo act, Ren performs a range of genres, much of it hip-hop/rap influenced, as well as guitar-based ballads. His collaborations with Sam Tompkins (“Blind Eyed,” “Earned it /Mans World / Falling”), with Chinchilla (“How to Be Me,” “Chalk Outlines”), and his performances as a member of the band "The Big Push" (which unfortunately broke up) are awesome and well worth checking out, both the busking (street performances) and their live recordings. Ren has impressive vocal and instrumental skills. He is one-of-a-kind and appears mature beyond his years. I already stated it in my comment below, but I want to reiterate that Violet's Tale is the closing chapter to a trilogy, "The Tale of Jenny/Screech/Violet." It is haunting and has an unexpected ending, tying the whole story together; watch them in the stated order, as this is the flow of the storyline. Ren will be releasing his latest single, “Sick Boi,” on January 19. He is currently in Canada for more treatments but said that he prepared a lot of music ahead of time to be released over the next 12 months that he expects to be gone.

If you reach out to Ren he will whitelist your reactions, he wants youtubers reacting to his videos and spreading the word of his talent and hates people getting copyright strikes.
He has messages me a few times and have spoken to him I do always when the copyright appeal just long them doing it and I have to go through the process of getting it removed What is white list
Hey there, not hatin' on ya or trying to tell ya how to run your channel, take it or don't, I understand either way, just some friendly advice though... your sound on our end was really good, that's the most common pet peeve of mine, so no worries there, but not sure what' s up with the copyright pauses, I haven't seen but one or two reactors, if any, use that tactic to avoid getting a strike in like in over a year or so. I know it's different in different countries, but some reduce the opacity, some flip the image to mirror mode, and others just put writing over it, but totally dropping the feed out, even for a couple seconds will for sure lower your numbers. The other thing that may not be an issue for all, is when you stop to comment. Now you'll never hear me complain about stopping, that's what reactors do, if one doesn't care for it, they can move on down the road and watch the official video, but the majority of subs listen using headphones, to get the best sound from their favorite artists, and when you stop and hit back and resume on your keyboard, you're smacking the shite out of your keyboard, which is your keyboard to do what with you like, but it's mad loud, and jarring on our end, I came out my seat the first couple times you did it. Again, no hate, just a few tips, I enjoyed everything else and look forward to checking out more of you content. ✌️
I think alot of reactors are not getting paid for there videos coz of the copyright claims or they are re reacting to the same video and pausing where they have had the copyright claims on the previous recording for the same video that aint something im willing to do to many fake reactors out there . It's not always about the visual and putting mirror mode on its due to the content in the lyrics and what the song is about are playing a major roll in the copyright claims and the ad suitability and I'm not cutting the feed it just a space between where the claims are where I'm told by youtube I Appreciate your concern and I will keep sone of ur comments in mind If most reactors have no bits edited they more then likely not getting paid unless they pause every 5 seconds to avoid copyright claims especially with big artist youtube have really clamped down on the smallest things to use as copyright I'd rather ad a little copyright right scene then cut that part of my video out
@@musiclee…Yeah I think we’re kinda thinking the same way, I just might have said it wrong. Cut the feed was a poor choice of words. Put it this way, regardless of what you show visually after edit and you upload the video, if you pause the song (audio) for any reason I think most would prefer you jump in and comment, when the audio drops out and you have dead air, even though most of us know your pausing it and we’re not mussing any of your reaction it just kind makes things not flow as well. I totally get ya not wanting to do all that work, get it blocked and you don’t get paid, that sucks. I do a little videography and editing for corporate events as a side hustle, I know theres a lot more work that goes into gettin a video ready to be uploaded than most subscribers realize. But remember probably like 97% of your viewers have heard the song and video your reacting to, and I know from seeing comments and talking to them over the last couple years, that they’d rather see the album cover of the artist with uninterrupted audio other than your commentary, than to pause the video and have dead air. Ive also seen quite a few reactors that normally just put up cover art, where their subs told them it was important to watch the video, the reactor still puts up artist cover art, but is watching the video real time and reacting to it, we cant see it; but like I said, we’ve already seen it, but we can still enjoy you reacting to it. I appreciate you responding back and I respect your desire to keep your reactions authentic above all the other crap people whine about. Ignore the haters, authenticity always wins out in the long run! ✌🏼

@MUSICLEE ...No worries, glad to do it, just remember, while more subs is what you want to build your channel, the comments and constant demands and rudeness can be overwhelming at first, try to pick one or two positive comments per video and highlight them, before reading the rest, or it gets depressing. Above all else, It's your fucking channel, it's one thing to take subs advice or react to a heavily requested song, but the channel should be fun for you too, mixed with some work, if it quits being fun, it's ok to tell some of them to piss off, my channel I'm doing this or that my way. ✌️
One of the skills of reacting is knowing when to pause the video. you stopped it too much, you destroyed the flow of the music and I found it extremely annoying.

I got copyright lol on this in 2 parts youtube are really taking the piss last month they have changed some of there policies but really they just trying to get as much of the money as possible lol appreciate the support 🙏
RUclips do not have copywrite over this yesterday Ren commented on another Chanel who had been copywrited and is fighting with RUclips over this. Their new policy may be blocking or demonetizing it over language under their new policiesGood luck with the changes

Great reaction. I only recently learned about Ren and have gone down this rabbit hole ever since. I can personally relate to many of his songs, and they deeply touch me. Ren is an incredible and unique artist; he plays multiple instruments, has great vocal ability, and is an excellent storyteller, and quite the philosopher and poet. I recommend you check out some of his other work. The trilogy "The Tale of Jenny/Screech/Violet" is haunting; watch them in the stated order, as this is the flow of the storyline.
His song "Money Game" (Part I & II) is another recommendation. If you like his personal reflections, they are threaded through many of his songs; "Insomnia," "Depression," “Diazepam," “Penitence,” “Dear God,” “Heretic,” “Dominos,” his "Freckled Angels" album, just to name a few, all deserve a listen. As a solo act, Ren performs a range of genres, much of it hip-hop/rap influenced, as well as guitar-based ballads. His collaborations with Sam Tompkins (“Blind Eyed,” “Earned it /Mans World / Falling”), with Chinchilla (“How to Be Me,” “Chalk Outlines”), and his performances as a member of the band "The Big Push" (which unfortunately broke up) are awesome and well worth checking out, both the busking (street performances) and their live recordings. Ren has impressive vocal and instrumental skills. He is one-of-a-kind and appears mature beyond his years.
I already stated it in my comment below, but I want to reiterate that Violet's Tale is the closing chapter to a trilogy, "The Tale of Jenny/Screech/Violet." It is haunting and has an unexpected ending, tying the whole story together; watch them in the stated order, as this is the flow of the storyline. Ren will be releasing his latest single, “Sick Boi,” on January 19. He is currently in Canada for more treatments but said that he prepared a lot of music ahead of time to be released over the next 12 months that he expects to be gone.

If you reach out to Ren he will whitelist your reactions, he wants youtubers reacting to his videos and spreading the word of his talent and hates people getting copyright strikes.
He has messages me a few times and have spoken to him I do always when the copyright appeal just long them doing it and I have to go through the process of getting it removed

Hey there, not hatin' on ya or trying to tell ya how to run your channel, take it or don't, I understand either way, just some friendly advice though... your sound on our end was really good, that's the most common pet peeve of mine, so no worries there, but not sure what' s up with the copyright pauses, I haven't seen but one or two reactors, if any, use that tactic to avoid getting a strike in like in over a year or so. I know it's different in different countries, but some reduce the opacity, some flip the image to mirror mode, and others just put writing over it, but totally dropping the feed out, even for a couple seconds will for sure lower your numbers.
The other thing that may not be an issue for all, is when you stop to comment. Now you'll never hear me complain about stopping, that's what reactors do, if one doesn't care for it, they can move on down the road and watch the official video, but the majority of subs listen using headphones, to get the best sound from their favorite artists, and when you stop and hit back and resume on your keyboard, you're smacking the shite out of your keyboard, which is your keyboard to do what with you like, but it's mad loud, and jarring on our end, I came out my seat the first couple times you did it. Again, no hate, just a few tips, I enjoyed everything else and look forward to checking out more of you content. ✌️
I think alot of reactors are not getting paid for there videos coz of the copyright claims or they are re reacting to the same video and pausing where they have had the copyright claims on the previous recording for the same video that aint something im willing to do to many fake reactors out there .
It's not always about the visual and putting mirror mode on its due to the content in the lyrics and what the song is about are playing a major roll in the copyright claims and the ad suitability and I'm not cutting the feed it just a space between where the claims are where I'm told by youtube

If most reactors have no bits edited they more then likely not getting paid unless they pause every 5 seconds to avoid copyright claims especially with big artist youtube have really clamped down on the smallest things to use as copyright I'd rather ad a little copyright right scene then cut that part of my video out
@@musiclee…Yeah I think we’re kinda thinking the same way, I just might have said it wrong. Cut the feed was a poor choice of words. Put it this way, regardless of what you show visually after edit and you upload the video, if you pause the song (audio) for any reason I think most would prefer you jump in and comment, when the audio drops out and you have dead air, even though most of us know your pausing it and we’re not mussing any of your reaction it just kind makes things not flow as well.
I totally get ya not wanting to do all that work, get it blocked and you don’t get paid, that sucks. I do a little videography and editing for corporate events as a side hustle, I know theres a lot more work that goes into gettin a video ready to be uploaded than most subscribers realize. But remember probably like 97% of your viewers have heard the song and video your reacting to, and I know from seeing comments and talking to them over the last couple years, that they’d rather see the album cover of the artist with uninterrupted audio other than your commentary, than to pause the video and have dead air. Ive also seen quite a few reactors that normally just put up cover art, where their subs told them it was important to watch the video, the reactor still puts up artist cover art, but is watching the video real time and reacting to it, we cant see it; but like I said, we’ve already seen it, but we can still enjoy you reacting to it. I appreciate you responding back and I respect your desire to keep your reactions authentic above all the other crap people whine about. Ignore the haters, authenticity always wins out in the long run! ✌🏼

So when I put the copyright section up and it goes silent I do that once I've already uploaded once on youtube and then I go bk to my editing with the bits it's telling me are copyright right and what are you saying I put there instead

@MUSICLEE ...No worries, glad to do it, just remember, while more subs is what you want to build your channel, the comments and constant demands and rudeness can be overwhelming at first, try to pick one or two positive comments per video and highlight them, before reading the rest, or it gets depressing. Above all else, It's your fucking channel, it's one thing to take subs advice or react to a heavily requested song, but the channel should be fun for you too, mixed with some work, if it quits being fun, it's ok to tell some of them to piss off, my channel I'm doing this or that my way. ✌️
One of the skills of reacting is knowing when to pause the video. you stopped it too much, you destroyed the flow of the music and I found it extremely annoying.
