I get so wound up when he misses a part of it. That left hand side of this rug bothered me even at the end, it just wasn’t as clean as the rest of the rug. OCD working tonight badly.

Perfection? Clearly you missed the fact that the left side of that carpet didn't get anywhere even close to having all of the stains removed. Yes, it is a hell of a lot better than it was, but it needed to be scrubbed with the machine another 3-4 times before that stain would be gone completely
I know this feeling. My wife and I have been together since before RUclips. If she had said when we met, "I fall asleep watching earwax removal videos", I doubt there would have been a second date.

After a while you start saying “perfect!” And “byebye!”. I have also learned the most effortless way to turn a carpet over, if I should ever need to. I like that he is as thorough and methodical with a little rug as with a large carpet.
When you can see the dirt coming out with the first rinse you know it will be a good one!

No joke, I do a simplified version of this to all my rugs once a year. My driveway gets cleaned, my rugs get cleaned, my neighbors think I'm nuts. But, seeing the brown water run away is sooo satisfying

Me too! My husband thought I was nuts until he seen the first carpet I did. We were given an area rug our friend was going to throw out because he couldn't get it cleaned. He tried a carpet cleaner and it just wasn't working. I brought that gray rug home . Power washed it in the drive way and wow it was actually beige colors. Really beautiful. Saved a $350 rug!

@@wendytoddheath3573 We use a pressure washer and simple green. Drag them all out to our driveway. Use a pressure washer to soak and push the grime out. Then a bucket of sinple green and scrub with a big long brush, rinse and use a squeegee to push water out. And then they sit out in the sun, and hang in the garage overnight. Not as thorough as these guys, but we live in a very rural area. The closest place like this is 3 hours away. But, these videos gave me the idea. They always look and smell so much better after.

I have trouble getting to and staying asleep, but the last few days of watching your videos or having them play while trying to sleep has helped me immensely!! I watched someone clean a $16,000.00 rug and thought at first it was you. It WAS NOT you! They ran over it with the cleaner with wrinkles all over it and the carpet cleaner jumped violently over the folds. It was terrible! I don't think they cleaned the back either. You treat these rugs with such care and love! I enjoy watching you bring them back to life. I'm glad you made this channel. :)

It's enjoyable to watch how the carpet jumps and bubbles when the power washer is put under the edge of it, and how much dirt under the rug is pushed away by the water. This process is fascinating.
