The problem with the Seahawk QB's isn't the QB's, it's the offensive line and has been for years. Geno Smith will be one of the best QBs in the NFL if he has an offensive line that can give him the protection all great QB's get.
The offense lost TEs, but added good, new faces to the OL. I am expecting the OL to improve in both the run/pass. Improved line play will enable Geno to regain his 2022 form, which was very good. WRs/RBs are good, but will be better w/ the OL play. Overall, I think the offense will improve over last year. The defense is where the marked improvement will come. I am not expecting a top-10 defense in year one. Just marked improvement. Our DL will be upgraded. That is where improvement begins. Our DBs are very good - but they need that DL pressure to operate. The question will be, will the LBs be an improvement? If so, then the effectiveness of this defense will be on the rise. We cannot be 30th against the pass and run and get anywhere. If our defense could be just average - 15th, say, then the team will be very improved. Will it be enough? The NFC-W is a tough division again. It may take another season and draft class to rise to compete with the elites. Plus, I feel like Howell will be the starter next season - as Geno hits the road for bigger money. We’ll see.
First I respect the Seahawks as an orginzations of consistent winning I go mr them going 10-7 making the playoffs Getting the 7th spot beating out the Cowboys and Da Bears I think y’all defense steps up and won’t be surprise if their a Top 10 defense in the league I think y’all Offsense steps up to be at top 15 in the league I think Geno is your started for the next 3 years I won’t be surprise if y’all make the playoffs and one the 12 team Instrested and looking forward to.
