These leaks seem credible. I think the new Milgauss will be in the new AK case, with a 32xx movement and no faraday cage, as it is no longer needed with the 32xx movements. BTW, I own a gold Daytona on Oysterflex and it is superbly comfortable to wear. And I would love to see a jubilee root beer. Thanks for the insights, Austin.
Precious metal on oysterflex are for younger ballers. My buddy was 24 and bought the yellow gold daytona on OF. Its perfect for him as where a solid gold daytona would be too mature
Rolex aren’t haute horology. They’re a mass produced brand who have a near perfect lineup. There’s no need for them to launch anything new. I guess they feel they’re expected to. Hence the minor cosmetic changes and upgraded movements.
I don’t consider them changing a dial or using precious metal “new”. A new watch in my book would be a new model or if they did something wild like artisans de geneve and made a skeleton (i happen to not like skeletons)
Very surprised the leaks are only Sports models?!? Think its stagged to excite, would have seen a datejust, daydate or other models. Pictures real or fake for us fans, its fun videos of what we would want to buy. hope one released.
i don't see why they wouldn't, doesn't seem like such a stretch to me. if they're willing to put gold on rubber, then what's to stop them from putting platinum on rubber? i used to share Austin's opinion, as far as not liking a gold-cased watch on rubber, but the more i've seen of the oyster-flex braceleted rolex's, the more i like them.
@@omar10213245 honestly nothing on that watch goes good with the black Rubber. I have a skydweller in gold on the oyster flex and I love it. But I just cannot see the black with the blue and dark chocolate bezel ( which looks more red / chocolate imo in person) it just doesn’t go well. But maybe if they change the bezel to black it would be a stunner. I do like the Daytonas on a oysterflex that I’ve seen but I guess we will find out soon.
Nah…..rose gold on the Sub, doesn’t work for me but on the GMT it’s perfect. Precious metal interest is a stealth wealth proposition ….for me it needs to be the white gold including the bracelet. The blue bezel submariner might be the closest high priced purchase I’d consider.
I'm not buying it for 2 main reasons..One, the VTNR doesn't make sense. Rolex describes it on their website as "GMT master II with crown on the left". It doesn't make sense to release the same colour combination with crown and date on the right hand at the same time. Two, the Platona with the brown bezel doesn't go well with the black OF. Also, the reference number for the leaked pic is the same as the full platinum Daytona and that's not right. Now I could eat my words next Monday if these leaks turn out to be true. But as of right now I'm skeptical.
Ya, I was really surprised at the idea Rolex would take the Sprite in that direction, and I still questions it. So, I'm really on the fence when it comes to buying that leak.
I personally like the oysterflex on precious metals… particularly the yellow and rose gold as it allows you to dress the watch down and wear it more often. I do agree that the platinum would be better with a bracelet as that can be worn fairly casually. As for the leaks, there’s nothing here that I find overly moving or market breaking as the average person buying Rolex will be priced out of these, with the exception of the Milgauss. I guess the only real impact is if this Milgauss is true and if so will just decrease the price of the current generation… prob somewhere to just around or below list of the new reference.
Great comment about the modern rootbeer. I agree 110%. My wife has the rootbeer and it's a watch with a lot of bling to it. It really needs the Jubilee bracelet to match the rest of the watch. I just hope that Rolex will let owners of the Oyster bracelet model buy the Jubilee separately. I would be the first in line to get one, even at their ridiculous bracelet prices.
I think the picture of the picture just washes out the gold color of the indices. So, a lack of image quality could explain it. (Or, of course, it's just fake!)
@Watch Symposium I guess that's possible. I still think it's fake, though. The leak came very early, too early, I would say. And as you say, it's exactly what one would expect from Rolex. Almost to obvious. And then they already have a YG with green dial out for years in the daytona as well as the money dial gmt. It would be for the same customers. They already have ghe YG with blue, which are a classic. And a SS with green. To add an extra green will be too much. At the same time the green color is over exposed from other watch manufacturers at the moments. I like your videos, though..
I'm not sure if someone working at an AD would have any insight one way or another. You'd think they would, but they really aren't in the inner circle of Rolex.
This leaks are totally fake, those are photoshopped photos of the current catalog, the Swiss Made on the MILGAUSS with the lower crown looks off, Rolex is very consistent with the crown location on all the models.
I think the only option that you mentioned that would be a possibility is the jubilee two tone idea. I don’t see any of those other options happen. Not buying it…
That Milgauss mock up looks Stunning!

True - I'm clearly not the target market.

No way they put the platinum Daytona on a strap. It looks terrible and the runner and platinum just don’t mix. I will be shocked if that is real.

Now would be the time for Rolex to rollout the Syloxi hair spring in the Milgauss.
I totally agree!
I hate Oysterflex bracelets, so I totally agree with you regarding the incongruity. Yuck.
You believe those leaks? So many changes seems out of character for Rolex. I’ve heard others say that these leaks were fake.
Rolex submariner hulk in yellow gold 🎉
Br8lliant theyve convinced people to pay what they pay for a precious metal watch where theyve removed most of the precious metal
Rubber on a platinum Daytona simply is a „no go“. But I would die for a Rosé Gold two tone Daytona.
Damn get rid of the polished center links on the Milgauss already. Sheesh
I don't see the point of releasing prescious metal tool watches 🤔
Milgauss is gone from the Rolex website

an oysterflex platinum daytona will be ALL TIME
All hearsay until next Monday......
It's about enjoying the journey

Platinum and rubber? No way.

Good point - the Oysterflex does tone down that PM watches quite a bit.
First 2 seem likely, platinum daytona on oysterflex is unlikely imo
Great video!!! Spot on!
LOL, wrong on everything !
The leaks were a joke, apparently.
Here 3 of my predictions: ruclips.net/video/nZVKPg8hvW4/видео.html

Great episode 👏
Austin - have you ever been to a used store called House Kihiroba?
Doesn't ring a bell (but maybe).
What if the Rose Gold Sub is coupled with RLX Titanium?
I lasted 11 seconds. voice can break glass.
well i personally love the oysterflex
Rolex don't even show their case backs apart from the discontinued Cellini prince😢
their movements are solid though generally
Let's hope that changes in about a week!
My prediction: There will be a two tone rose gold jubilee bracelet GMT root beer with an all brown bezel insert and a black dial.
I'd love to see that!
A YG green sub, with wg hours markers. I don't think so. And if that's a fake leak, they all are.
I think the picture of the picture just washes out the gold color of the indices. So, a lack of image quality could explain it. (Or, of course, it's just fake!)

They’re all fake. asked a trustworthy AD person

@@watchsymposium some actually do

Rolex will do the opposite to what anyone thinks.
What might be nice is a brown dial on the tt GMT2 so we could actually have a real "Rootbeer"...not a fake pretender with a black dial.
I could get behind that. Though I love the modern Rootbeer, and think it's just about perfect as is.
Yep there'll bung Milgauss in AK. Not revolutionary
I think the only option that you mentioned that would be a possibility is the jubilee two tone idea. I don’t see any of those other options happen. Not buying it…
Do you cut your own hair I wonder?
