- This drill guide is only a little bit more than they are charging for the cheap plastic drill guides. Yet this is made out of machined aluminum. It is rock solid. It just has a couple of minor flaws in my opinion But for the price, I don't think you can find a better guide. Below is a link to where you can get one from being good dot com.

I agree, the 5-degree mark looks way too obvious not to have a purpose. If you were to use that mark as your zero, then depending on which direction you went you would have positive stops at +/- 5 degrees for each of the detents. I can see that being a great place to screw up.
The jig seems to be built well. It is a shame that a few small details can make it seem worse than it could be.
Thanks for the video. That 5 degrees thing on one side seems like it must have been on purpose, but I can't think of why.

The guide has features my Woodpeckers does not have. I’ll bet the price is significantly less. The quality may be not exactly what Woodpecker’s drill guide is but the features are way above the Woodpecker’s guide. I believe it’s superior to my Woodpeckers drill guide. The 5 degree off-set? Beats me!!🤜🤛

I think it is about $90. I bought one for $40 and it was all plastic. It seems they have the precision machines to make quality products. This is a new item. They just need that last 10% to refine their design.
How do you expect to get accurate measurement of the angles on a ruff cut piece of wood?
That may be why it was off.

I have never seen theirs. All I know is this old it high quality.
A new improved version just came out 2 months, evaluated by Dennis, from Hooked On Wood, ruclips.net/video/rv0886uEfn8/видео.htmlsi=i2tOO6kOm5aVyXtb. Those problems were resolved and new version works like a charm.
I will have to add it to my need to buy list.
