@escmilk yes, and after we've heard snippets of the 10 pre-qualified songs, I bet we're wondering why all those songs are pre-qualified and why they couldn't exchange the 3 or 4 weakest songs with 3 or 4 more out of this competition.

Sometimes I want semifinals to come back in Vidbir 😢 There are good entries, but only one of them could reach to the final😭
as soon as the war is over we will bring back the semi-finals
@@siriyananasI don't think so, heu changed the selection back in 2021 before the war as I believe Vidbir is not broadcast on the same channel as previous
@@vincentesc 2021 we chose just GoA because of covid. at 2022 public broadcasting did not have much money to host the semi-finals, plus covid again. in 2023 war, just like in 2024

And we haven’t seen the main participants yet, like Jerry Hail and Alyona Alyona, Melovin, Yaktak. For those interested, you can listen to the songs of these performers, these are huge talents of Ukraine
Now ukraine just tops all the other national finals, only with the wildcards 😂

Right now all 9 songs are actually pretty good, there not bad and not great either just stuck in the awkward middle phase at the moment which is why i can't do a top 9, but i do have a top 3 favorites that i hope wins and get to be the 11th finalist of Vidbir 2024.

Unreal quality, could easily compare this to Sanremo Giovani, actually this is stronger than it.. my favorite is Stasya but also love Carpetman, Krylata and Swoiia. All of those 4 are to me better than both the French and Czech entry so far so I cant even imagine how strong the other songs must be wow. I wouldnt even have been disappointed if this was the actual NF
