I'm in shock, I have no words. Raiven, it's a diamond that was hiding in Slovenia 🇸🇮, and we're talking about the song Ofelija, which was considered for ESC 😱

Raiven is the current queen of Eurovision! She is definitely the best vocalist and performer this year! YAYAY
This year is definitely balkans' year. Especially ex-yu countries slaying so hard. And Raiven is the vocalist, artist, mother and queen of the year.
Raiven is from Slovenija - not Balkan. Only a little part of Slovenija south from Kolpa river touches the Balkan Peninsula.
In that area we have some cultural influences form Croatia. We have more cultural influences as a part of Austro-Hungarian Empire - from Alpine countries, some parts have big influence from Italy. Slovenija is defined as a country "on the sunny side of Alps".

Just to let you know- this song was meant to be the first option for Slovenian Eurovision song this year and Raiven almost chose it, but than she chose Veronika
Not Raiven chose, but Slovenian delegation. She wanted and expected Ofelija, but they chose Veronika and then after some time she also decided for herself that Veronika is better option
If she can comfortably perform this song on stage, I'd say this would've been the better option. I feel it's more accessible to the general public.
I like Veronika more, Ofelija is to complicated for ESC, for some even Veronika is too much, but absolutely fantastic for me.

But that’s actually a bit frustrating. If she is going to release a music video she can do that on her own channel. She could have made a different version of “Ofelija” for the “a little bit more” series instead of this version that can be found everywhere.
